Poor quality. Not useful for ANY purpose. They look like anchor bolts but are really scrap metal.

My house has lathe-and-plaster walls; I use hollow wall anchors because compressive plastic anchors just crumble the plaster. I ordered these M5 anchors to mount a stair railing; the railing has 0.2" (5 mm) predrilled mounting holes, a perfect fit for M5 anchors that are not included in most wall anchor kits. These anchors are sturdily constructed from zinc-plated steel and mount best using an anchor setting tool (e.g., ASIN B08GLD7562 not included); the anchor setting tool compresses the anchor without spinning and avoids plaster erosion.The 30 wall anchors arrive packaged in a corrugated cardboard carton. The anchors are quality constructed but the cardboard carton is flimsy: the carton punched through when I wrote on it with a ballpoint pen. I transferred the 30 anchors to a plastic surplus bottle before adding the anchors to my home shop hardware stock.
