I’ve used these in 4 different houses. I was not successful with a multizone Honeywell, but does work great with single zone AC/heat and I just installed two of them with a two wire furnace. There are plenty of YouTube video showing how to do it. They just learn in immediately with no trouble and appear in the app.Pro tip: take a picture of the current wiring before you disconnect and try to mount this unit in case it doesn’t work and you need to reconnect the original unit!

Starting with the Good. Easy to install and program, do set the Swing at +- 1F, the overshoot at 1 or 2 and the smart humidity at auto.Since my wife and I both work varying schedules, we like the convenience of setting the HVAC (and everything in the Alarm panel) from anywhere in the world.BEFORE you buy and install this, make sure your service provider will allow you to attach it to your system. I had to go all the way to their corporate office because my service provided would not install it (said they do not have an HVAC specialist). It is a simple Z wave attachment and once again, it works great.

This thermostat is pretty much junk. It's like the temperature sensor is not open to the room or tucked inside the plastic somewhere. My AC will run for hours and the house will be freezing before the temperature on the thermostat starts to drop. Same goes for the furnace. I changed the overshoot and start up to only 0.25 degrees each and it's still the same junk. Can't return it either. Would not waste my money on this. I will prob eat the $200 and order a nest.

This is my second of these units I have installed in my houses. Have tried 3 other brands and come back to simple easy to read and install. Works well with heat pump and furnace. Have both full electric and gsa/electric units with heat pumps and works accurately on both. Well built, nice looking and easy to use. Highly recommended.

It installs good, and in auto mode works fine. But it doesn't have easy access to standard options like fan on or circulate. The community driver for zwave hubitat doesn't work right, and cant change fan settings. The app won't let you create an account unless you go through a partner business or some nonsense. If you want a thermostat that you install and leave the fan in auto mode and manually change the heating and cooling setpoints, it's fine. If you literally want to do anything else that's behind a stupid app wall, buy something else.

I bought this elegant device a years back so that we could monitor & regulate our home temperature remotely. This devices fits that bill perfectly. While there aren't many controls on the device (on/off, heating, cooling, both), it looks very sleek and elegant. Most of the fine tuning is going to be done on Alarm.com, via the many devices it works with (computer, tablet & phone apps). There is a high degree of adjustments available from within the app. You can set your daily schedules for both heating & cooling, fan control, set points, etc. You can pair this thermostat with a separately available temperature sensor. Instead of just reading the temp where the thermostat is, it can use the remote sensor to adjust the overall temp. Very helpful if you want, say your bedroom, to be the main point of raising or lowering the temp.

Have had this installed for almost 2 months now and it has worked great. I have a second one ready to install once our remodel is done so that will really be the test. I haven't gotten to take full advantage of the programability through alarm.com but it is a very nice feature. Huge bonus that these are half the cost of a Nest since I have to have 2 of them. If you have alarm.com and are looking for a thermostat this is a no brainer. Note that you cannot program anything at the thermostat, it is all done through the alarm.com site or app. All you can do at the thermostat is change the temp and turn the heat/cool on or off. It's a very sleek unit and look great on the wall compared to a traditional thermostat. One thing I will not be able to utilize is the secondary sensors. I don't have zoned heat/air so I'm not sure how they expect this feature to work for most people. Seems to me that if a certain room is at a certain temp, and you have a sensor in there to adjust the thermostat, it will affect your entire home. If you are building new and can put in electric dampers, this would be a great feature though.***Update 11/2016:My thermostat stopped using power from my HVAC unit and was eating up batteries every few days. I contacted Low Voltage Supply and they told me to ship it back to them ASAP b/c the 1 year warranty was almost up. They started to the return to the manufacturer and sent me a new thermostat last week after the manufacturer determined it was malfunctioning. FANTASTIC customer service.

Nice Thermostat. Easiest Thermostat I've installed yet. I had the CT30 before which consistently gave Z-Wave connectivity issues, so I was going to upgrade to the CT100, when I noticed this thing. I decided to try it out, the display is simplistic and elegant. This thermostat also uses the newer ZWave Plus spec which provides better range and connectivity. If you are a fan of having your thermostat show a bunch of different functions, this is not for you. The way the temperature changes is nice to watch. Additionally, when not in use it just looks like a white slab on your wall. All the advanced features are controlled online with the Alarm.com web page or app. I will say this is a much smarter thermostat than a Lyric or Nest when you tie in the alarm.com back-end.I will definitely be buying another to replace my 2nd floor thermostat

Great product. Can't say much else besides the fact that it's very simplistic and has the minimum amount of control from the panel wihch is how this item should be. I have it set to 76 degrees when we're home, and 80 degrees when our alarm is on "away" mode. I don't ever touch the controls on this thing. Beats my nest because nest's away mode wouldn't work in my house since the thermostat is upstairs in the hallway by the bedrooms. It would constantly go on away mode... I highly suggest this item if you're looking for a zwave or a alarm.com ran alarm system (like frontpoint). My only issue was that the thermostat won't install properly on a hole that is cut for an outlet size hole in the wall. I had to improsive which didn't allow me to sink the screws in, so with the battery installed, the thermostat won't sit 100% flush with the mount. I can run the thermostat without batteries since I have a "C" wire, but then I get a constant notification from my alarm app that the batteries are dying. Sort of annoying. I also wish there was an option to have the screen always on so I know what tempature the house as I walked by it
