I bought these because, somehow, my handlebars for my ebike were just short of 25.4mm (how is that possible?) and therefore weren't able to fit in my replacement handlebar riser bike stem. I didn't think these were going to work. But lo and behold, they worked like a charm! Problem solved. Thanks.

So; I have a really sweet set of short rise/sweep handlebars off of a competition BMX bike that are just right for a city-streaker build...but couldn't find a 28.6 stem to fit it...these shims do the trick, without any Rube Goldberg effect...shipped quick, fit perfect!

I needed to make some modifications to my son's Birdy folding bike which has a 31.8mm stem. I used the shims to attach a TranzX H-bar/ stem double side clamps to change the reach and angle to a 25.4mm Litepro handlebar. The shims fit well and provide a good stable grip to the stem.

Worked perfectly to fit my 25.4 mm Velo Orange Crazy Bars to a 31.8 mm Quill Stem w/ removable faceplate.Made for a very secure mount.
