Fit the gap perfectly, hope it lasts for decades. But BEWARE of the height, since two junction parts act like washers, the track is higher than a vinyl track, which stucks the sliding door. However, removal of those parts will result in uneven junctions.

Product fit my current screen door. It was much too long so I just cut it down with a sawzall. Pressure fit just fine and slides great. Make sure you find the right size track for your wheels.

Item arrived quickly. It took me longer to change to a metal cutting blade on my miter saw than the actual install of the track. Fit perfectly as the measurements shown in the item listing were precise. I know this rail will last much longer than the vinyl one it replaced.

I replaced the old vinyl track with this sturdy aluminium track! It was a perfect fit and a very secure track for my sliders to ride on. It was also a few dollars less expensive! Why would I ever use vinyl again? This will last a very long time!

My plastic track melted and buckled in the heat after so many years and I needed to replace it.I saw this one and it is the same cost as the plastic version which I did not want to get again. It is aluminum, comes in pieces, and joins using small set screws. It’s easy enough to put together. You do have to cut to size which is easy enough to do. I have a miter saw but you could do this with a simple hand saw if you needed.The only downside is that this track is taller than the plastic ones so I had to modify my screen door, which needed work anyway, so I was fine with that. If they made a version that was the same height as the plastic track it would be perfect.Overall, it works much better than plastic and will last a whole lot longer. Totally with the effort I needed to put into installing it.
