Easy install, fit the old base hole pattern didn't even have to use my drill , unbolt and bolt in. Now the seat goes up & down. Some one mention it was a little low so I made a 3" spacer out of some left over 2*6 or 2*8 lumber under the seat. Easy peezy one hr job.

We needed new pedestals and seats for our pontoon . I saw these and knew right away they were perfect. They are adjustable. My wife is a little shorter so she needs to have a lower seat than I do. We’re both VERY happy with them.

This in not Hydraulic or spring loaded. It locks in several spaced places with a metal lever- in- groove system, which will not experience mechanical failure. The base plate holes were an exact fit to the prior base plate. The seat bolt pattern up top made me able to mount the Locking Slide Plate from the existing seat. The rotation lock works great, as I followed prior reviews (thanks you guys) and put a dab of grease before mounting. Might be a better pedestal out there, but not at this price!!
