To be fair and forthright, I bash my RC cars hard. It is not my intent to try and break them, but I do not shy away from obstacles that will likely inflict hard to my RC cars. That being said, I really thought these aluminum skids plates would last significantly longer than the Traxxas original plastics. As another reviewer has stated, a good collision will bend these quite a bit - not a surprise for metal vs. plastic. But what does surprise me is how soft the aluminum is and how quickly it is thinning out from bottoming out on the pavement. I love the look, but I am not sure that these will last any longer than plastic skid plates that cost half as much.

This skid plate is fine if you are only going to race your car on a carpeted track. Outside it will quickly scratch off any anodizing and the aluminum plate in front warps under any sort of hard contact. Save your money and use the plastic plates.

Both skid plates fit. Front one doesn’t fit that great with RPM control arms but i filed it down to make it work. Decent for the money

They arrived fast and fit perfect, look pretty good and definitely seems tougher than the stock. Hoping to combine these with new differentials and shims to hold the differentials together.
