I have a 2003 400ex, and the main frame plate doesn’t work with my quad. The rear bolts aren’t long enough to mount where the stock mounting tabs are, the tube clamps don’t reach the plate, and the front cross bars don’t reach the plate either.The subframe plate mounts up perfectly though.

The bolts are mediocre quality, but the plates are a good thickness and fit well. For the money you truly can’t beat it

Like a lot of people that have purchased this set up, I had to do some modifying to get them to fit. Other than that, not bad!

This is about 1/3 of the cost of the skid plates that I could find anywhere else. When I got them, they looked pretty decent. A little rough around the edges (literally), but the metal is thick and the welds are good. Only 3 stars because this says it fits a 2012 Honda TRX400X, but it didn't. I had to cut the two spacers for the bottom bolts because the supplied bolts were either too short or those spacers shouldn't have been there. It all works now though. Excited to test them out.
