Pin lug (short shank) couplings are designed for use on low pressure suction and discharge hose applications. The female coupling has a brass pin lug nut for easy tightening by hand or with a spanner wrench. Coupling set comes complete with a replaceable gasket.

I love the size and versatility of this coupler. I don't know precisely what it was designed for but I was able to customize it to house a thermocouple for my Jeep. I was not able to install the thermocouple anywhere else on the engine so I needed something that I could drill, tap, and splice into my upper radiator hose. This coupler worked perfectly. The wall near the brass collar is thick enough to cut two-to-three threads into which was just enough to install the NPT-threaded mounting nut. Very good quality item at an affordable price!

These fittings are 10 times better than what I got with the pump I ordered!!!! I am glad I ordered 3 sets of them> I am going to order 1 more set and get a few extra 2 inch gaskets.
