I have an FX3 and A7Siii that I needed to jam sync timecode to, so I picked up a Sony VMC-BNCM1 adapter to use with a Tentacle Sync unit.NOT CHEAP!!It's on B&H now for $50, but was over $100, and only on Encompass when I purchased.It worked once or twice, then stopped.I went through all the different configurations and settings I could think of, and couldn't get the Tentacle and BNC adapter to jam sync my cameras.Then I found this Alvin's cable, and it works a treat!I don't know what magic Alvin puts in his cables, but this is only one of several unique problem solving cables I've purchased from them.Unfortunately, it doesn't work with the Rode Wireless Pro receiver.It connects and outputs audio timecode, just like the Tentacle, but the camera doesn't read it like with the Tentacle.Keep up the great work Alvin's Cables!
