The pump works great. The mounting brackets practically crumbled in no time. The pump has not had prolonged sunlight exposure.

Was working great for 2 weeks. Nice and quiet and was easy to install. Then it stopped shutting off when all faucets were closed. Replaced with a locally sourced pump and issue didn't recur, confirming was a pump failure.

We use our quite a bit in the spring around the farm. We needed to replace one of our pumps of a different brand and this was the only one we could find at 5 gpm. The base bolt pattern was different but we were able to switch the bases very easily and we were back in business. It already has quite a few hours on it and it works just fine. Hope this helps.

Great pressure. Installed it on top of a 30 gallon barrel to wash the kids down after beach trips. Works great in combination with an expandable 1/2' hose. Really over powered fore the application I'm using it for. But as I've learned better to be over powered than under powered. Only used it for a month so I can't speak to it's longevity. Hope it last because it really makes coming home from those remote places easier. No more dried salt water on the fishing equipment or sand in those uncomfortable place for the drive home.

Micro switch failed after the first week of use. Contacted the seller and all I get is " I installed it wrong" I followed the instructions etc etc. Then I'm told " I need an accumulator" blah blah blah. I've installed these before and never had any problems.

Is working perfectly so far, I am a liveaboard and this pump has been in place on my boat for about 4 months now without any issues.Update: It's December 2017. We have been sailing the coast of Mexico in our sailboat and this pump started failing. First it cycled constantly until we ran our batteries critically low. We went to only turning on the breaker when we needed the pump. It failed completely within the month. I purchased the pump in November 2015 It failed November 2017 it came with a 2 year warranty and failed promptly as soon at the warranty ended.

pumps well and is a good general pump, recommend you add a pressure tank, the switch the operates the pump is not available if you run up to 60 lbs the switch burns out.

I am using this pump to draw about 12 feet from barrels through a 5/8" garden hose, I know not recommended but it works for now, then out through 100 feet of 1/2" garden hose to water plants all round my country place. It puts out EXCELLENT pressure and at LEAST the stated volume even pushing through 100 feet of hose. Impressive performance.. Fairly quiet, and no problem if it runs dry for a little while. It WILL get hot if you leave it running dry, but that is normal for a diaphragm type I think. Just don't run it dry.I upgraded from a 3 GPM pump to this and I find it a little overpowered. Would be excellent for power-blasting the crud off your car or truck though. Totally recommended.
