Not bad at all at this price. I’ve ordered quite a few of these top down shot tripods. NONE of them actually held up a real camera although they all claimed they would. This one does.To be honest, it’s a standard tripod that you can find for $30 or so (but without the vertical capability). The fact is, those don’t allow for the middle column to be used vertically and for those that do, they don’t support much weight, and if it does support a camera and lens like mine, its going to be very expensive. This is a good middle ground. Nice build good column and just works. Thank you!

I am very pleased with the quality of this camera tripod. For the price, it has a number of useful features. It is also well manufactured and is made with durable materials. I own several professional grade tripods. Although this is not a commercial grade product, it does possess many great features that you would not normally find in comparably priced products. The tripod legs are made of a coated aluminum. The head/mount is made of a high density plastic resin. It is lightweight and collapses into a low profile which makes it easy to carry and store. It has all normal functions of a camera tripod, but can also be setup vertically to shoot straight down or straight up. The clamps and fasteners work very well, hold their position and are easy to adjust. It has a couple of levels to ensure proper setup. It also has a stabilizing hook to hang a weight in the center of the unit. It also comes with a nice carrying bag. This would be ideal for an initial tripod or to use in settings or circumstances where you might lose or break a more expensive one.

I like this a lot. It includes everything I need to get started out of the box and enough adjustment to get any shot I could think of.It works great for smaller cameras as well as a phone mount. Of note, it is an entry level tripod. I wouldn't put a large camera with a heavy lens on it - it's a little on the flexible side for that. But in context, I'm very happy with this.

This tripod has every function that you need. It’s easy to adjust the height, I like the rotational aspect of the camera mount. It is very sturdy and can hold my heavy camera steady at the highest height. this piece of equipment is definitely worth the cost for a reliable item.

This is a nice reasonable tripod. It is light and easy to carry. As I get older, that is a real advantage. Also, when I carry my professional tripod in its case, people sometimes think that I am carrying a shotgun. The legs have braces that lock into position. There is also a hook to attach to a sandbag or weight for greater stability. The height can be adjusted from 20 inches to 62 inches. The extensions all have locks that are easy to open and set. The ends of the legs have their bottom pads on ball joints for uneven ground. There is a two-axis bubble level on the body and a single-axis bubble level on the tilt head. The camera is connected to a mounting plate using a 1/4 inch screw. There is also a spring-loaded indexing pin for cameras that use one. The bottom of the mounting plate is square, so it can be attached in different directions. The head includes an ability to go from landscape to portrait easily using a rotating joint that can be locked in either orientation. The center post can be removed and inserted from the side to enable vertical shots. This tripod works wonderfully for my APSC mirrorless camera. It will also be good for most cameras up to 6.6 pounds. It is not suitable for my 600mm telephoto lens or large telescope. For those, I will be using my stronger tripod. I find that this tripod is well made and excellent for most of my shooting. I strongly recommend it.

Lightweight yet sturdy, and made of attractive satin-black aluminum alloy and ABS resin, this AMBITFUL tripod is a high-quality item considering its reasonable price. The moving, sliding and rotating parts all function smoothly and with firm precision. It has many thoughtful design features:- The snap-action leg extension locks are large and prominent, so you don’t risk mashing your fingers or ripping your nails off to operate them;- It has two bubble levels, a tiny line level on the head and a bullseye level on the leg structure, and the elevation pivot has tiny engraved angle markings on it from -90° to +90°, so there’s no excuse for slanted shots;- The panning handle, which tightens to lock the azimuth in place, has an oversized, very nicely textured grip. Similarly, the large elevation locking knob is deeply knurled for a firm grip;- The ¼-inch attachment screw in the quick-release mounting plate is short enough that it can’t screw in too far and thus cause serious damage to a camera;- The articulated head platform rotates smoothly from horizontal to vertical and can be locked in place at any intermediate angle;- The center column is keyed for insertion into the tripod body, and can be removed completely and reinserted in a horizontal orientation, which is handy for low-angle shots;- It comes with a tight-fitting, zippered, rubberized plastic case with a sturdy adjustable strap to sling over your shoulder for easy portability. The “Product Manual” packaged with this tripod would be a nice touch, but it’s useless because the drawings are indecipherably minuscule and the text is unreadably tiny, and it covers multiple tripod products, none of which is this one.Nice, compact, lightweight, well-designed and -manufactured, this tripod should satisfy all but the most demanding professionals. Sure, its plastic parts mean that it’s not as stable as the far more expensive all-metal versions, but it does provide a stable platform for casual photography provided that you torque down pretty good on all of the locking and tightening devices. This tripod serves my advanced-amateur photographic needs perfectly, and looks good while it does. I enthusiastically rate it at five stars.
