Standard weight pans are 18 ga., .040", 1 mm aluminum and heavy-weight pans are 14 ga., .064", 1.5 mm aluminum; heavy-weight pans are 50 percent heavier than standard-weight. Standard-weight pans are usually designated with an "a" as either the prefix or Suffix in the item number and heavy-weight pans are usually designated with an "halogens" as either the prefix or Suffix in the item number. Hand-wash is recommended as aluminum is a soft metal that is attacked by detergents with a high alkaline or acidic nature. Hand-wash with detergents made specifically for aluminum. Through repeated use aluminum will soften and If scoured, will thin.

We have some family members with dietary needs. I wanted to make my own Gluten Free Cookie cake for everyone. This pan was perfect. I use parchment paper every time I use it and it still looks brand new. It’s also great for deep dish pizzas at home. I absolutely love the size of this pan. The price is reasonable. It’s thick enough that it can’t warp. So far it is rust free. I’ve only hand washed it due to its size. It won’t fit well in my dishwasher. You won’t regret buying this pan.

I got this for mostly making phyllo pies and size is great, I really love it, however it did started to bend under the heat of 430 degrees, which I may not understood how much heat this can take, but just wanted to point out that up to 420 it was okay but when it went to 430 I heard sounds and aluminum started to bend. Otherwise, I find this very useful as this is not a typical baking pan.

Using as a bird bath. It is nice and big. It is very nicely built. It is not heavy and is easy to clean.

Every first day of school, since kindergarten, I have made my daughter a cookie cake celebrating the start of the school year. For her high school graduation party it was only right that we had a HUGE cookie cake. I ordered the biggest round pan I could find and was so happy it worked out great. The cookie did not burn, stick to the pan, or cook unevenly. Can't wait to cook another cookie cake!

Pan is of great quality and as described. I bought this to use as a rat shield by turning it upside down under my squirrel feeder. The two inch lip/rim plus the 16 inch diameter is what led me to purchase this. Hard for rats to circumvent!
