Note, you'll need to buy lag bolts, but other than that, good and sturdy.

I have a speaker from Ampli.com on a tripod for (socially distant) supervisor meetings in the plant. A forklift driver ran over the tripod. So it is now mounted on the wall. Sturdy and well engineered. Would buy again.

Perfect for the location I needed it. Folds up when not in use so people don’t hit their heads on it

First of all the box it was in was beat up. It would be easy to blame it on the carrier, but the thing is just a lose piece of metal with sharp edges in a cardboard box. This should have come in a second box period. The item sent is not the one pictured on Amazon. Instead of 3 holes this one has a slot you can slide the post back and forth. There is also a pivot point at the end for which you can tilt the speaker up and down. That aside, the quality of the item is merely okay. I have a pair of the Griffin mounts and they are built like a tank. These hold 180 pounds my ___, good luck with that. I'd say 50 pounds max. Do yourself a favor and get the Griffin mounts. The only reason I went with this one is because I didn't need another pair, and I couldn't find a single Griffin for sale. It will work because my speakers are less than 30 pounds, only reason I'm not sending it back.
