I rarely write a review but this pickup system sounds so good especially for the price. At first I used the 2 way tape and attached the pickups to the sound board as there was not enough back plate space behind the bridge. It sounded " tinnie" and weak needing a lot of volume . Next attached them to the bridge plate in front to the pegs. Sounded better but still needed a lot of volume . BUT when superglued the pickups it sounds very good with less volume needed . Overall I am very pleased with the pickups!

I like this pickup. I put it in a Taylor 110e. I dislike Taylor’s pickups, sound too thin. This sounds great put thru a Baggs Para DI pedal. Really good quality for $50. Did the install myself following the directions, used a 3/8” drill bit to make a new hole. It was easy.

I installed this in a new Acoutic guitar that I built. The product Instructions were very good. The pickup works and sounds very good. The price was very reasonable. I like that this is a passive pickup and does not require any batteries. I would highly reccomend this product.

Nice deal, great tone. Placement of Pizo is tricky but they supply Golf Tees to aid in Pizo placement.... and ya might need a shorter arm or a chop stick to guide the output jack into place.

This pickup setup was easy to install, and saved me a LOT of money! Works just as well as the name brand pickup.

I had this installed in an old 1975 Alvarez-Yairi Herringbone Dreadnought that is a little past its prime. Maybe my Martin J-40 has just spoiled me. Anyway, I didn't want to spend a hundred plus (or whatever they're costing now) on a K&K Mini and the reviews looked good and it was only 50 bucks so what the heck. The luthier who installed was amazed by the sound. He played the guitar through a high end amp and was impressed. I played it and it does sound very good.

I installed on a 40 year old K Yairi acoustic to use on stage. The install was quick and easy as I've done a few others and had made a jig to install all 3 elements at one time. To honest, for the price I didn't have high hopes, but I was pleasantly surprised when I plugged into PA. It sounds like the guitar, which is something I can't say about most UST's etc. I do run it through a Baggs Venue for EQ which does help me dial in/out the mids etc. to enhance a bit. But it really does the Yairi justice and I will be laving it in. I usually buy teh JourneyTek pickups but they were not available when I needed so I grabed these. I highly recomend.

This is pretty much the same as a k&k for more than half the price

I play on a loop station and used both the Martin LX1E & LXME. I returned the 1E(Spruce Top) for the ME (plastic body) and eventually the battery door broke after a long 4 years of taking the guitar everywhere and gigging with it. Since I already had the LX Black which doesn’t come with a pickup option, I figured why not try one of these.I did not drill this myself. I have a relative who is a professional carpenter and has a shop. I found tips online for installing similar pickups and he agreed and used them.I had the end pin hole (which just pops out) widened by first taping the area around the hole and using a 1/2 inch drill bit. After that it was given back to me to install the jack and set the pickups under the bridge on the wood brace. It took a few minutes due to the small body but my hands are tiny. Once installed I plugged it in and had a pretty clear but bassier sound than the fishman in the LXME can achieve, but time will tell along with some new strings. I can adjust everything else through pedal.I think I want another one for the Epiphone on the far right, or to split the signal and double my guitar sound live on the Martin LXME and just tape the door shut. So many possibilities! The pickup came in a cute tin I can use to store stuff in my desk or guitar bag. My only regret is waiting so long to install it.

I think for the price specially, the product delivered really went beyond my expectation. A very nice warm woody flat sound from the instrument. I'm very pleased with this and will definitely install it on my other acoustic folk instruments for sure.

Very nicely built, in some ways almost indistinguishable from the "pro" types but for a fraction of the cost. The sound quality is exceptionally clear and you get to pick up on all those small nuances that are easily missed otherwise.Really good find, and the value on it is great. Thumbs up!
