There? Any of you guys have a fireplace and/or Woodstock. This product is excellent there was a newspaper pineapples or fire starters. I was suggest you try this. We are constantly having to clean out our pipe for the woodstove on the screen because the paper gets stuck and the smoke comes back down the flu. I suggest these because they are perfect. They start quickly and create no creosote

These look to be made out of pine shavings, so I was not expecting they would burn hot enough to start firewood, but they do. They also light just as fast as the square fire starters. I only have to light one to start a cold fire in my wood stoves using seasoned oak logs.

I've been using Lightning Nuggets for many years now, they are hands down my favorite fire starter. Honestly, they've become so valuable to my fire-starting game that I can't envision living without them anymore.I live in one of the coldest regions in the US and use my wood stove nearly every day over the winter as a primary means of heat. That means starting one, sometimes two, fires per day for almost six months out of the year. I hated making kindling, not only because it has to be done in the frigid cold, but also because I needed face cords of it to get through a year! These fire starters work great for starting a fire with full-size wood splits. I do a basic log cabin build. First, two pieces front to back with about 1-2 inch gap between them. Place the nugget in the gap. Then, two more logs side-to-side in the wood stove. If I have room, I put two more logs again front to back on top of that. Light the nugget and minutes later, I have a roaring fire.Despite having considerable expertise with these, I have had problems from time to time. It's always the basics. Fire needs three things - fuel (wood), air (the stuff you breathe) and heat (this). Figure out what you're missing and you'll solve the problem.I've bought pretty much every size pack of these things, they're all the same. I go with whatever is cheapest, per unit, at the time of my purchase. These don't go bad, so stocking up may be worthwhile to some. I do love these come in bulk packs, those silly 10-20 packs you see with other brands would barely last a week around here. For some stupid reason, Amazon wouldn't ship the 350 pack I normally buy to my address this time, so that's how I stumbled into this 170 pack. It's actually nearly ideal as I consistently use between 150 and 200 of them per year. Nonetheless, I don't mess around when it comes to heating my home, so I bought two.My only real gripe is that I am hopelessly dependent on these now. I use these to start fires in my outdoor fire ring. I bring them camping. I keep a couple in my truck kit, just in case. I used to be able to start a fire with any wood in any conditions. I truly worry that I've lost that skill! These are great fire starters, an essential in my home. If you're in half the situation I'm in, there's no other fire starter I'd recommend above these.

I love this fire starter. I don’t have to use any paper. Just two nuggets and that is perfect.

Been using these for years. After trying several other tinder products I landed on these and have not used anything else.
