Its made with cheap parts. The digital display is not that great. You get what you pay for.

Great gift for my science-mad son. You get a clear image on the screen and he finds it very interesting.

Sólo tengo un pequeño comentario, el botón de enfoque no es muy fácil de mantener en su posición, tendría que ser un poco menos flexible porque no se sujeta bien.

Been having great fun with this versatile and useful microscope! Very ergonomic and intuitive to use when perusing the tiny world of microscopic stuff. Impressed with the resolution and clarity. Standard interface for objective lenses has me thinking about what I might do to enhance and extend this already impressive capability. Support for problems was rapid and effective.

Had this camera about 2 weeks. It was easy to put together, nice quality pictures and great screen. The only problem that I have (and may cause me to return it), is the Measures software. This software is necessary to connect the camera to Windows by USB cable. You can connect by HDMI, but this consists of a HDMI cable this is not connected to anything. I am going to try and connect with their Tech support to see if we can resolve the problem. Just for reference, I am using Windows 11 home version.4/24 - Tech support was very responsive and gave me a solution right away. The microscope comes with a cable that allows you to control the camera. You have to remove this cable and use a USB D-Link cable to connect to the PC. This works perfectly, it connects to the PC right away. But here is the downfall. If you don't use the cable that comes with it, then the remote control does not work. So now you have to use the buttons on the microscope to adjust images.Conclusion. If you don't need the remote control or extra features that come with the remote or if you are willing to only use the screen that comes with this microscope, then it works great. I like the screen that comes with the microscope, but my windows screen is 32 inches. Easier to see. Though I could probably get by without the remote control, it kind of defeats the purpose of paying for a remote if you are not going to use it. So I will probably be returning this to see if I can find one that connects to my PC and allows me to use the remote.4/26 - Final Note: I purchased a $10 HDMI splitter that allows me to switch between the microscope and the monitor. Now I can view the microscope in full view and still use my remote. Everything works great.

As a past user of traditional microscopes, this surpassed my hopes in every possible way. Easy to use, VERY clear images, easy to view with a student or partner. Won't know about durability until it breaks but it is far cheaper and more durable than traditional microscopes. And the range of magnifications is enormous; Can use to assemble small parts, examine coins or jewelry, or see into cells.Highly recommend.

Does way better than I expected; have been sufficiently traumatized by all the monsters living in my backyard. The big wiggly butts of moss mites still give me and my wife nightmares. And I had no idea what monsters lived inside the sitting water in our corrugated drain pipes. (*shudder.) Boy do they fight... food, other female monsters, who knows. But there is a gladiator arena in there. And dust mites are not a myth... they are real, and they are everywhere. To give you an idea of the magnification, I could clearly see my blood cells, for example. Very clear and sharply in-focus. but don't expect to see into the cells... no mitochondria or anything. The electronics work great... just stuck it into the HDMI of our TV for a great pic. The highest magnification lens is less clear and crisp, however. We like the regular one. Just... be careful with this Pandora's Box. I sometimes feel like I brought something demonic into my house, like a cursed Ouija Board or something. I will never see my backyard the same. I have a whole new respect for standing water.

This was by far the highest magnification for the absolute best price I could find. My partner Lost Their Mind getting it for xmas. All reviews said it shakes a bit, and my partner's response to that is essentially "yes, but I can wait a second for it to stop?"The lights and screen are fantastic. It's great that there are good standard lenses, but also room to put in some that you can get yourself- standard size!If you're like me (not a science nerd) please rest assured that this has a very science-y stamp of approval.

Giving this 4 stars because it's still a great deal for the camera, lenses, display LCD, etc. I've found at higher magnification the stand is just too wobbly to support it in many cases. Simply putting a finger on the base can, at high magnification, be enough to make the image hard to see. So every time you adjust anything you have to sort of give it a second to settle from the vibrations to see where you are.Still great value for money. I'll likely be looking for a sturdier stand or will be seeing about building one. Having a lot of fun with the kiddo checking things out with it. Great starter/kids/maybe soldering scope.

I have a few complaints & some praises.I don't like the plastic. It is very flimsy. With such high magnification it is next to impossible to adjust because it is so flimsy. When adjusting the camera there is a detent that seems to always be right where I need to focus. So, I adjust the higth which doesn't work well either because of the backlash in the mechanism & the flex in the stand.I looked for the camera with these options in magnification with a metal stand but didn't find one.The camera & lenses are great. It has an amazing picture for the price. The lowest magnification that I use for soldering works great but it is pretty useless for the other two lenses with all the flex in the plastic. Also the slightest vibration is going to be seen with the higher magnification. It really needs to be more ridged. If you are working on the base it also has a pretty deep throat which allows about a 5" circuit board plenty of room.
