The tool works and is powerful, but…The fan blows right in your face, even with protection on its really awful.The cord is like 48”, basically unusable without an extension cord.And the worst part, the trigger lock gets engaged all the time without wanting it to be. It’s not safe and when holding the tool with one hand and my work in the other you can’t release and pull the trigger again to disengage the lock. I sat it down 3-4 times running because I couldn’t get it to turn off using just 1 hand.It’s not safe!

Feels heavy duty tool, came with a handle that can put on one of 3 sides, each side has a hole that you can screw on the handle, easy to put together, also came with 6 discs, 3 kinds of disc and 2 each kind. Build quality seems not bad at all, it's a decent and powerful angle grinder for this price, and comes with everything needed for a home DIY job, bought it to cut a garage door strut to fit and reinforce my garage door, and it got the job done with ease.

To start off, I gave this 1 star because like most customers, we read the negative reviews to get a hint of what could be wrong. For a price of $40, this look like a great deal for China made 10amp, 3 positions handle, paddle, trigger lock handle, with variable speed.Just received, I immediately take it out to test it by cut some metal tubing ( before the 30 days deadline 😅 ). So for, power seem great for a 4.5" grinder.The grinder was post as having a 2 positions axillary handle when the picture show three handle mount screw holes. This was the one detail that I hope seller got wrong. There is barely any detail to post about the item so I don't know why they can't get it right.The main reason I purchased this grinder is the 3 positions axillary handle (my picture show three from handles of my other grinders), paddle switch, variable speed, and 10amp, and low price (lower than Harbor Freight lol).I'll continue to use it this for these first 30 days to see if it fit my need and will update my rating afterwards. I have a good feeling about it.

I didn't stall this while welding my welding cart and the dozen other projects.The only thing I didn't like is how the switch locks on. It doesn't take any thought it shifts forward slightly but I would forget, and it wouldn't lock... very minor problem. The switch is much easier to use than the tiny square sliding button.Never failed to grind and never got hot like the cheap angle grinders do.It is of course heavier and much better with two handed uses. I don't use them to cut much anymore but prefer a lighter low powered angle grinder for cutting. is easier to handle single handed. I prefer a porta band now as I had an accident with a cutting wheel and now shy away from them.

I will fully admit that I am not going to push this thing too hard, it is a cheapo made in china tool.THAT SAID - I bought this thing to grind down concrete and looking into renting an industrial grinder I figured I could by a really good grinder for the same price. But seeing that I only needed it for ONE job, to grind down the curb at the end of my driveway and I have plenty of time to do it, I figured I would get this and if I burn it out, it's still cheaper to buy two of these than a really good top brand grinder.And ya know what... it did the job, it was pretty easy on it and the job took probably a lot longer than if I had really beared down on it, but after hours of grinding (on a 55 degree day) it never even got that warm.It's small enough that you can handle it with one hand.I really wanted a grinder with a soft start but since this is variable speed I just start it on one and crank it up to six after it's going.I have no complaints, it has exceeded expectations and now I am tinking to tackle some other jobs with it.Have not tried the wheels that came with it, they seem about typical Harbor Freight quality so good enough if I ever need them. I DID however get some bargain wheels for concrete and they also exceeded my expectations, I got 4 thinking they would probably wear out pretty quick but I only needed one.

Its a decent grinder. But its not a 6 speed grinder. 2-3 speeds maybe. Doesn't spin at all until you turn it to 2.5. And can't maintain torque under work at 4.5 one the dial. Realistically you have "speeds" 5-6 to work with. That being said, it allows you very specific control for the rpm speed if you're trying to do light touch spots. I imagine running it under 5 for a long time could damage the motor.Also, the listing says 1200w but the label on the tools says 1400w. So it might actually pull 11 amps instead of 10 amps.

I bought this grinder mainly try to get rid of the tree stump in my backyard. This one was so easy to use, it has the safety feature, which is nice since I’m new to this. It’s is very strong and got the job done nicely. It’s not heavy, I was able to hold it and grind the tree stump myself. It has a little smoke when I used it for more than 5 minutes non stop. Overall, it’s pretty sturdy and work well, done what I need it to be done. Highly recommended!

Bought this to replace my old one that finally quit working. other than being heavier than my old one, it works great. I especially like the easy lock on feature, so I don't have to hold the trigger all the time, and a quick tap of the trigger, shuts it off.
