The chair is good for its intended purpose of flying flight simulator but not for general use. It's uncomfortable for long periods of time. The extensions for flight sim controls are more than adequate. They use heavy grade steel when aluminum would do. Most importantly, if you have or think that children may use or be around it, be very careful. The chair's legs aren't long enough and that makes it easy to tip the chair forward and make it fall over. I almost did it myself several times by sitting in it and using my legs to pull the chair forward. Children could easily tip it over and end up on the floor.
