I thought this would be able to rotate to vertical so I could mount a vertical antenna on top of a mast above my beam. Nope.

This is excellent hardware. The MOOKEERF antenna mast clamps will hold the load securely. Each of the two mounting plates come with TWO U-BOLTS for each. The threaded parts aremachined to the specific size. The mounting hardware was delivered on a very cold morning and the hardware was ice cold. A good time to check for wobble in the nuts and bolts after being joined or threaded on to the bolt portion of each. Only a minuscule amount was detected. Far better than most other mounting hardware that is out there. This reassured me that this company is a serious provider of excellent antenna mast mounting hardware.This hardware is designed to withstand the load. The weight of the array whether it be an allband vertical, or a more extensive stacked yagi system. These could easily support the mast for a two meter 32 element stacked array.I am not a novice when it comes to antennas and hardware. I was licensed as a amateur radio operator when I was fourteen years of age. I still am an active amateur radio operator and this hardware will be used to support a ten element two meter beam that will be located inside my apartment. To take advantage of certain radiation phenomenon, such as knife edging caused by buildings and other structures that are in close proximity the slotted hemisphere on each mounting plate will be a distinct advantage in tweaking for the sweet spot. The fact is thatjust because a transmitting antenna is vertical does not mean that my radiated signal will find the best pathway with a degree of horizontal or tilting from the full vertical.I really dont know how else to confirm my total satisfaction with this review item other than my accolades for the quality of the steel hardware, the ruggedness of the product, and the design features. I am giving this MOOKEERF Antenna Mast Clamp assembly Five GIANT Stars.Excellent product, good value because it provides the strength and versatility needed. to securely mount your antenna.
