I thought these would be fun, but I'm a longtime crafter/stamper/painter/artist who stamps on a daily basis, and I can't get a clear stamp with these. The gradient colors are too far apart in value to be a true gradient; some of the colors are too light and barely show up. The individual colors aren't inked uniformly and whatever dyes are used are too thin to produce a solid stamp, even on high-quality paper. The only good things I can say about these is that they stack nicely for storage & the stamping inks are fairly water resistant, which I prefer, but it's actually opposite of "washable" which is what these ink pads are supposed to be.I won't even give these to my children, as they'd easily become frustrated with the poor results. I recommend taking a hard pass on these and looking for something better.

I love this stamp pad set. The colors can be used individually or one large stamp can be used across the whole pad and it will make a gradient design on the paper. There are six pads included and each has a different array of colors. The pads also stack really well on top of each other so they don't take up much space.

I picked these up thinking the variety of colors would be great for scrap booking. Upon arrival I found these pads are actually pretty small allowing for only smaller stamps to work otherwise you risk blending colors and damaging the pad. The size of the pads is clearly stated in the listing photos, but I should make it clear that while the entire pad is about 3 inches long, the stamping area is only around 2.5 inches wide.I love the variety of colors in graduated strips. I don't own, nor have i ever used this style of pad before, however I did run into issues with these. First off I did note that some of these pads did have gaps between the colors which can impact your stamped image. You'll actually have to move the stamp a couple times which again, risks mixing colors and damaging the pad. Additionally, I ran into issues where the ink didn't want to adhere to the stamp even after repeated lifting and re-inking of the stamp. All of my stamped images in the photos I hit the pad at least 3 times with and pressed down. Some colors did better than others but you can clearly see where I ran into inking issues as if parts of the pad were dry. The 'V' on my stamp is solid, the final stamped image at times isn't. I have to say the colors were lovely, though the blue pad didn't have much difference in the shades. I also like that the pads stack.Overall, I'm disappointed. I think these might be ok for kids crafts but clearly not a great option for anyone wanting to use these for more better quality work. For the present price of $5.99, you get what you pay for.
