The ammor box is awesome. Very well constructed with great seals and heavy duty steal. The lock is crap and fails very easily. Keep the can and replace the lock a quickly as you can. I was unable to use my lock 20 seconds after I pulled it out of the box.

Having a locking ammo can is a must have if you have children. For all ages, they're cool looking, are fun to open and have shiny objects inside. Having the hardware already installed was what sold me. I've added locks to a few in the past and I don't recommend it, its a pain in the neck. The only thing I modified is took a dremel to cut the screw/lock down to the bolt so it wasn't sticking inside and catching my knuckles and ammo boxes. But when I add a new toy or need more space I'll definitely be buying these again.

This is the third ammo can I’ve purchased from this retailer. Pretty well made. I noticed that the top lid hinge pins fit more loosely than my first two cans. When opened, the top slid off the pins so that the top fell off the can. Kinda irritating. The lock came with no instructions. There is a video link on Amazon which provided lock setting instructions. Instructions should come in the box. My first two boxes did not come with locks or the locking hardware kit which was already installed, that was great. The lock provided is adequate but significantly less quality than the locks that I ordered separately for my other boxes. I do recommend this box as it comes with box, locking kit, and lock.

The box is great quality and feels quite sturdy. It holds more than a 1000 rounds of ammo. The lock felt a bit weak so I would make sure to get a better one. Overall it's a good product!
