Needed a FAT50 for a specific application and this vendor had the best pricing with shipping. Can arrived in good condition with some white paint and just a few tiny rust spots. I already planned to repaint the can so neither was an issue.I would buy from this vendor for this product again.

I did not realize that the ammo can was going to not be new. It arrived with a big ugly splotch of bright green paint on one side. I was expecting a new ammo can all painted one color. I had purchased this item as a birthday gift so was highly disappointed it did not look nice.

This looks like a genuine military surplus ammo can! It has "Empty" stencilled sloppily in a couple places, as I would expect... I bought it to store power tool batteries in when we leave for weekends, to reduce fire hazzards from Lithium batteries. Excellent condition, opens and closes tight but perfectly, paint is in great shape! Thanks for selling these on Amazon, saved me going out and searching surplus stores.

I recently purchased two LiFePO4 Group 24 batteries for my RV, and I want to bring them into my warmer garage to store them through the winter. The manufacturer (Power Queen) recommends putting them into a metal box for storage. I found that each of these batteries will fit securely into a FAT50 Ammo Can which then will safely stack in a convenient spot. This seems like a great and inexpensive way to put them away for the winter.

I purchased a PA-108 "Fat Fifty" SAW (Semi-Automatic Weapon) Box Ammo Can that had already been stenciled for duty holding 5.56 NATO M855 Ball and M856 Tracer ammo, but from the looks of the Ammo Can, it never saw a day of storage duty, let alone any active duty. The stencil info on the outside of the Ammo Can was perfect, because my plan was to use it to hold my 5.56mm XM855 62 gr Green-Tip Barrier Ammo, my 5.56mm SOST MK318 MOD-0, 62 gr Barrier Ammo, my 5.56mm XM856 64 gr Tracer Ammo, and my .223 cal. 69gr HPBT Ammo for my Colt 5.56 M4 LE6920 Carbine. The Ammo Can's rubber seal is perfect all the way around the top, the Box Lock System for .30 or .50 cal Ammo Cans, along with a MasterLock 131T Padlock keeps everything inside it perfectly safe, and a Stack-On Spad-60 Silica Gel Dessicant Pack keeps everything inside it perfectly dry and fresh. It was an absolutely perfect purchase for me!!
