Worked in a pinch...daughter was Harley Quinn and needed a foam prop for San Japan. It was light enough for her to carry the whole day and small enough to be approved for entry into the convention center.

Its a good enough bat and ball.Only thing is I expected that the bat would be foam thorughout and not have a plastic core. So probably not best for a 3 year old going on teenager who will lash out when he doesnt get his way.

I bought this for my son's 4th birthday and he loved it. It's light for him to hold and use and with the soft padding I have no worries about it hurting himself or his younger brother. The ball is light too.
