This is a beautiful little bat. I was worried it would be heavy but it's not at all and it feels sturdy and durable. I've tried it myself a bit with no damage or issues or having to stress about the right ball. It has great balance and just the right weight for my kiddos to feel some power in their swing. It's great for my 6yo and my 3yo will be able to use it a bit soon too. Very happy with this.

Is a good set for kids between 5 and 7 as is not so big and ball are not so good quality so If it is used for a big kid maybe will damage very soon. But was a very good option to start to play baseball.

When my son started t-ball they said as long as the bat said t-ball I was good. So I just typed that in on amazon. Ended up ordering this one, and it is WOOD. Wood is not allowed in our t-ball league so I had to exchange. Other than that, great value for money.

We use this to play ball with the kids. Works perfectly for my 5 and 6 year old. Many family memories made with these. Must have for summer fun.

If you need a bat and ball on a budget I highly recommend this one. The ball feels a little cheap but it's good enough for a kid to start learning the ropes with.

I was hesitant to purchase this after I read at least one review that said the bat broke and was dangerous, but I figured for the price, my husband and I would check it out before letting him use it, just in case. After hitting several T-ball grade safety balls with the force of an adult swing, we were convinced that the broken bats must have been due to a child using the bat inappropriately, like hitting a hard object, a tree, or hitting it against concrete ground. We don't let our son play with the bat or anything like it without adult supervision. Any wooden object would break with enough force, no matter how well it's made. I'd recommend this product if it's used properly.

We got this to go along with a T-Ball Tee for the kids. It's a great bat - not too heavy for even our youngest daughter, but also not super light like a plastic bat. It's perfect for our kids who are new to baseball!The ball it comes with is also sort of an in-between. I don't have much experience with types of baseballs, so maybe this is just a typical T-ball, but it's lighter/softer than a normal baseball, but not as soft/light as the foam fake ones.

The bat I received looks nothing like the picture- mine is red, white, and blue. My son specifically requested a black bat, so we were a little surprised to receive the other one. Not a huge deal.This is a wooden bat, which it says in the small description, but not in the main product description. I missed this detail (having only read the product title and the bullet point description... in fact I didn't even notice there was another description because it was just one short line of text. Oops).It is a little bit on the heavy side for a first time player, but we're getting used to it.Seems to be good quality, good construction. No real complaints other than it being not as pictured, and the product description not saying it is wooden "right off the bat."

BUY THIS SOMEWHERE ELSE! Ace Hardware Direct is terrible. Combo took 11 days to ship (Although they say 3-4 days of processing?). I called after a week and was told it would ship that day only to finally get the shipping confirmation 4 days later. Stay away from them is all I have to say, unless you are willing to wait out their terrible supply chain process. And if you call for information on when your order will ship, be prepared to get an earful of nonsense.As for the bat combo though, it is of very nice quality. The kids enjoy it and the size is just right for them to use it properly and swing it without issue.
