Looks good and secure. Not sure why but was unable to get the screw covers attached to one plate.

I’ve been running without frames for years, but a new backup cam needed a frame behind it and these look great. They’re very sturdy, I just wish the hardware was long enough for my application. Perfect for stock replacement and ease of mind these days.

This is not actual carbon fiber, it is a metal frame (possibly aluminum) that looks to be hydro dipped with a carbon pattern. The frame itself doesn't feel hollow, a bit more weighty to be hollow so I guess that's a plus. Not sure of the metal so not sure about the rust resistance if the outer finish gets scraped.It does come with security screws, a tool, plastic finishing caps and pieces of shock foam.

These are great frames and so much better than the ones the dealership put on. Other than just looking better these have a couple of "hooks" on one side top/bottom that hold the plate in instead of just mounting directly over the top of a plate. Also included are pads to put behind the plate. I didn't have any problems with plate rattle before installing these but it's a nice touch. Also many different types of screws to hopefully satisfy any installation. Unfortunately I couldn't use the theft proof screws but this also has caps to cover the screws you do choose. This came with four of those but my front plate used four screws, presumably to keep it firmly in place at very high speeds. I simply emailed the address included with the frames and they are sending the extra caps for the other plate.
