Installed yesterday. Not hard and fits my 2009 Forester well. When I first started the engine after installing, white smoke came out of this part and the check engine warning light came on. I drove it for about 10 minutes and when I started the engine this morning, the warning light was gone. The smoke was gone too... I recommend installing a new oxygen sensor...

Got the cat today, went to put it on and it's not even close to fitting. Direct fit my ass. It's a full half inch off.

Muffler man says it didn't fit the vehicle that the seller says it does, but muffle man was able to somehow modify to extend it and make it work. ordered correct part number, hard to say if the part was wrong on some other previous change to the vehicle. Corrected my problems so happy to be back on the road.

Instal was pretty straight forward except getting the exhaust flanges to line up on the passenger side. With some pry bars and some other tools I was able to finally get it into place.
