Easy to install & fixed the blend door issue allowing warm air/defrost to flow freely again. Did have to calibrate (instructions/video below) prior to installing but otherwise a very easy fix!

Does not even match up to the wire OEM harness in a 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee.Item was listed to work on that year make and model but does not. This was the wrong part completely.

Reading some reviews stating it didn't fit. Just throwing it out there. You need to plug it in first without mounting. Turn the key to the on position and the fitting will spin into the proper aligned position. Once it stops spinning. Turn the key off and it fits without issue.

My mistake, if you have automatic temperature control (ATC) then this unit will probably fit your 2002-2004 Grand Cherokee with ATC -I do not!If you scroll down on the item description you probably will see in green that this does fit your 2002 to 2004 Grand Cherokee. It also says in small print "If this criteria is met". .... You need to click on the down arrow and it says"If you do not have Automatic Heat Control" (ATC). My mistake, I didn't click the down arrow.I am returning this item because electrically the plugs are not the same. It probably would fit but the electrical plugs are different.I'll go ahead and review this it looks like a very good quality part and it looks like it would bolt in with the screws I've been provided with but as I said it's not the same electrical hookup. The right one is available just be sure you click on the down arrow out of the box that says quote this will fit if you do not have capital a capital t capital c. Otherwise this is an easy fix it takes about 15 minutes. My unit is behind the glove box. Open the glove box and feel around the top of the opening and maybe 2" in back. You will feel too rubber cups. One on each side. Here's the hard part with 2 fingers on both hands you need to push the far side of the cup flat. The glove box itself has two tab fingers sticking straight upWith a little finesse you will be able to get those fingers past the rubber cups and the glove box to fall down extra far. You don't need to remove it totally, leave it hanging, it will be out of your way. Look up in the opening just created and on the left side you will see two screws holding hand your activator motor. Remove these screws and squeeze the electrical fitting to release it. Then your motor with some light finesse will pull straight out. To install your new one you need to plug in the electrical fitting. Either start or turn your key to the run position. This will cause the motor to rotate slightly so that it should synchronize with the blending door connection. This would be a great time to see if you're blending door is rotating easily. I used a pair of pliers to grab hold of it and make sure it went back and forth. Note there is a limit to how far it goes. It only swings maybe 90°. Reinstall the screws, raise the glove box. And go fix yourself a congratulatory drink!

I like simple fixes. I ordered what I needed and got what I ordered! It was in my hands on the sixth day after hitting the old button. I just can’t complain. Now all it has to do is work for the winter!

Simple install, one thing to note, before mounting, connect the electrical pug and turn vehicle on, if controls are set to auto, the rotating assembly will calibrate, once this is done, turn off car and mount onto axel for doors, quick 2 screws and its done
