I would not use these in any kind of setup where you want to protect your equipment from falling on the ground mid sprint. These are cheaply made and cheaply binding. The plastic is flimsy and doesn't really hold on to your helmet nor your gear well enough to be used in any kind of serious operation. These are perfect for decorative purposes though, if you're only going for cosplay or maybe even air soft with a bunch of cheap throwaway gear. I wouldn't use this for anything serious though.

I've used the peltor style wire and hinge type for years, and I've found that if you've got an oddly proportioned head, or if your helmet is just slightly too large, getting a good ear seal can be difficult. Enter the Hearangel adapters. These give you numerous mounting possibilities, and allow the individual ear cups to be adjusted to suit each ear, all the while maintaining a good seal. I was shocked at how well they worked. If you're even on the fence about these try them out. You'll be glad you did.

I ordered these as an economical choice for my secondary bump cap. I mounted in the rear configuration as i have other attachments on the top rail. As I go through the movements of placing the muffs on my ears and then removing, this setup just doesn't feel solid. I have used several type of mounts over my 20 year career, and yes, things are getting lighter with the advance of polymers. But these mounts are just too light. I feel both the plastic and the wire used would not be considered an industrial/ commercial grade. Just simply moving them in/ out from your ears and rotating the assembly, I felt I had to be careful as too much torque would shear the plastic off at the mount. Also, I understand these are mostly for airsoft type play, but all of the marketing material shows real world, professional pictures. And I do not feel that these would survive one fall, even in an outdoor, airsoft environment. At this price point, I cannot recommend.

Thought these would be a nice solid setup and a good change from the mostly wore looking helmet mounts. Unfortunately that’s not the case at all. First and foremost, the contacts wouldn’t even stay in place when you try to attach the brackets. Then again even without the earpro mounted, these didn’t want to flip back away hardly at all and were so floppy that I wouldn’t trust these for airsoft let alone actual tactical use in a live environment.

I got these for a set of muffs, I wanted to mount on a helmet. They fit well, and can be moved easily out of the way. The mounting lugs are a little flimsy, that's my only complaint. These are performing fine with what they're being used for. The price is comparable for the quality.

I have an extra bump helmet and needed a way to get a cheap headset attached. These were different from the usual 3m mounts that I have used. I liked how you could install them further down the arc rail, leaving room for other accessories at the top of the rail. Here are my thoughts:Pros:- nice firm install- held knockoff pelators with ease- adjustable- comes with 2 spare headset holders- held earpro / headset close to my ears- great valueCons:- cheap plastic- difficult to adjust without removing the helmet- afraid they might bend in storage with weight on themOverall these are pretty sweet for the price. They are a great value and would work great for airsoft or larping in the basement. I don’t know if I’d trust these in real combat or at the range.
