I read this book years ago and it’s one of the funniest books I’ve ever read. I wanted to get one for a Christmas present and Amazon is selling this TINY VERSION that is not the book in its entirety. This is some scam. It’s like 2 & 1/2 inches. What a joke, trying to get a hold of the ACTUAL BOOK. Completely disappointing.

Such a cute funny book. Did not realize it was a pocket size but that was my own fault for not scrolling through all the pictures or reading the description properly

This is a chosen adaptation of the book, only few chapters. Ridiculous. I wouldn’t have bought it if it stated this wasn’t the FULL version of the book, but a little one.

come al solito ho sbagliato, non leggendo la descrizione.è un librettino piccino piccino con la descrizione di quello che sarà il libro!vi consiglio di comprare il libro vero e proprio comunque, è molto divertente!

“I went out with a guy who once told me I didn’t need to drink to make myself more fun to be around. I told him, I’m drinking so that you’re more fun to be around.” So und so weiter zieht es sich durch das ganze Buch. Zum Brüllen, auch der Titel.

Chelsea rhymes with crazy and that results in "Are you there Vodka? It's me, Chelsea" or Yelsea as the author was called by her cleaning lady.I bought this book after coming across the series that were inspired by this book and that I found absolutely hilarious. After looking around for more of Chelsea Handler (including Youtube clips) I realised that she and I had a lot in common. Not afraid of telling what we thought, even if it was rude or offensive. This book was destined to be in my hands, so I got it on Amazon. No, it's not highly offensive or racist, although some parts are. You should not see it as offensive, rather as embracing all the positives and negatives of a community. It is quite refreshing to read someone who can make fun of Jews, Muslims, Christians and many more without being afraid of getting called to court by some association. This book is not the most hilarious book I've read but it is very funny and very entertaining. It is funny in the sense that Chelsea, for some reason, manages to be in the center of those crazy situation and can get out of most of them with brutal honesty, humour and some class.I would recommend this book for someone who is light humoured and will not take offense at what Chelsea thinks. A person who is looking for a good, entertaining read and who is looking forward to laughing a lot. It's a great book, very easy to read and some great stories.

I was curious after finishing this book how it didn't get 5 stars from everyone who read it. It just comes down to personal taste. For my personal taste, there isn't a funnier read. I had a hard time putting it down. I watch Chelsea Lately periodically, but I am not a huge fan of the show. I am however, a huge fan of Chelsea the author. At one point, I was trying to hold back my laughter to prevent my husband from waking up, but to no avail. I was shaking so hard and the tears were streaming so much, that I couldn't see the book and couldn't contain the sounds. He woke up thinking that I was having an emotional breakdown. He was really pissed off when he realized that it was hysterical laughter, not hysterics. With that all said, this woman is willing to bare herself, her friends, boyfriends, and family in the most unflattering ways imaginable. I LOVED IT, and am incredibly thankful to not be one of them. Her midget fetish is so politically incorrect and so incredibly hilarious. My husband has one too...he's reading this next.

As always, one can count on Chelsea to tell it like it is. We all have our quirks, some of us try to hide them others don't care, Chelsea writes all about them in her latest book that covers some of her childhood and stops about two years back. After reading it I realized that no matter what happened to her along the way, she always told her stories in such a nonchalant way that even the most horrific events that would turn most people to mush didn't really seem to stop her. I won't give spoilers but Chelsea goes through some rough patches with men and with the law, written with giggles and shocking situations that she always managed to turn in her favor at the end.The book is easy to read and goes fast; I pretty much read it in two days, not because I'm a slow reader but life was getting in the way, and sometimes I simply needed a break form laughing. Cute and funny, not as crude as some people say, Chelsea's sarcasm shines though at time but with charm to it, she has wit and brains too, always trying to keep her head up, trying to be nice to everyone and supporting her friends best as she can. One of the funniest parts of the book was towards the end, where she's dragged to a birthday party, hilarity erupted when the main guest of honor was staring to fall of the deep end taking her sanity with her, I laughed and laughed, and it was prefect for a relaxing weekend. Alcohol is mentioned here, even Chelsea's trip to the nutritionist was hilarious, the results and some trauma that followed were very, very interesting for sure. She does a great job of integrating her family into the story, making me feel like I all ready spend a Sunday morning in the kitchen with them eating pancakes, except that if I was there syrup would probably come out of my nose, these people are hilarious! I hope Chelsea leads a colorful and happy life, I'd be happy to read about it some more.- Kasia S

I feel like I've come late to the party that is Chelsea Handler, but better late than never. This collection of stories is in a word, hilarious. Chelsea is a natural storyteller and these pages go by so quickly I found myself looking for more when I reached page 264. She's original, irreverent, bawdy, gutsy and VERY funny. It's hard to pick a favorite, but the story of boyfriend Mohammad and the Peekapoo (apparently a gay dog), and another that included a night with the drunken "midget" named Kimmy, had me laughing out loud and sharing snippets. There are no stinkers in the collection, each is funnier than the previous as you get to know her humor and her quirks, which yes--DO include a lot of vodka. If you like the work of Laurie Notaro or Sandra Tsing Loh you'll love the work of Chelsea Handler.Michele Cozzens is the author of
