I found the belt a bit difficult to get on. It attaches with hook-and-loop around the back. I'm big enough that I need the extension. I found getting the belt snugged up and fastened a bit awkward. I would prefer a d-ring at the back and a longer belt that can loop back and fasten at the side or front.I used the spray bottle and moistened the pads before use. I ran through the modes. They have a mixture of steady pulses and ramping up at various speeds. I definitely felt muscle contractions under the belt. They could become quite strong when the intensity was turned up. However, I found the information on the uses of the modes inadequate. The instructions describe: “mode 1-2 suit for fat loss; mode 4-5 suit for muscle building; mode 6-8 suit for burn fat; mode 9-10 suit for body sculpting; mode 11-12 suit for muscle strengthening.” The product page has: “1&7 massage; 2&8 shape; 3&9 knead; 4&10 beat (!); 5&11 fat burning; 6&12 comprehensive.” These descriptions are contradictory and unclear. The different modes do have different patterns, but I'm not sure if or how they correlate with the claimed benefits.I also found some aspects of using the controller annoying. The display is facing away, so I have to bend way over, or pull the belt and controller up to view it. The mode status is indicated with tiny text “mode 1” “mode 2” etc with a LED behind it. The small text and poor viewing angle make it difficult to tell what mode is active.Usage note: When switching modes, the intensity will drop to zero. So it has to be turned up again.One amusing thing from the Warm [Warning?] Tips:“* The machine only works when contacting directly with your skin, if you use it with clothes on, it will shutdown in 30 seconds. Please do not use the abs stimulator with clothes on.” I did NOT get naked to use it.There was nothing in the package supporting “FDA Cleared.” I also note that the thumbnail of a document on the product page says “FDA Registered.” I haven't yet tried to validate either of these claims.

I am a 59 yr young adult female who ordered this mechanism for herself. I am currently 5' 5" tall & weigh about 167 lbs. My health report says I'm "obese" 🙄, yet according to my hospital stay for an injury less than two years ago my heart & veins are in good shape for someone my age (per the hospital specialists & doctors). When I had my x-ray it was discovered that my lumbar spine had an auto fusion. The x-ray tech said it was rare - but the orthopedic specialist for spines said it's common to see in people who are in their 50s or older, just most don't realize that's why their lower back hurts so bad, most find out like I do they bend over & can't bend back up or can but not without great pain. They were thinking surgery, because they thought the fusion may have been pinching nerves. My insurance at the time demanded physical therapy first. So that's what I did. While having the therapy, one part was using pulsating electrons that were applied to my core area & lower spine on my back. It tickled at first, but then I noticed my core was getting stronger. I know it was both helping the yoga like exercising & the electronic pulses. I still keep up with the exercises but feel sometimes like I have come to a wall, but then remembered I also had those electronic pulses too. That's why I ordered this - besides women would also like their core to be strong & toned too!The unit has several different modes each with different intensities. I'm starting off with 20 minutes on each setting, then today I started with the intensity level at 2. I already know it takes almost overnight to realize how your muscles feel after using it. Definitely saves time on doing more exercises & finding which exercises will help & not hinder not to mention the heights or bands to help you do it. I'm not saying one could use this instead of exercising, I'm saying it's easy to use, and will save you money to not buy an entire gym, the functions are easy to understand once you've read the little booklet, & keep it handy for future use on which mode does what for your muscle groups. For my body size, I wouldn't need the expansion belt. It fit fine without the expansion belt comfortably. The quality seems like it will last many years if taken care of. I do like the idea only to need water & it even came with an empty spray bottle to add water into. I also spray my skin. Some days I do apply lotion to my skin, see I have dry skin so lotion isn't a big issue for me as it might be for others. The belt itself measures about 45" & the height of the middle of the belt - where the electronic unit snaps on - is 6.5"
