About this item

  • DESIGN CONSIDERATIONS: This non-marring lug nut socket features a protective vinyl jacket that prevents scratches on aluminum or custom rims during service. The hollow design allows room for removing longer bolts (overall length is 85mm-roughly 3 3/8 inches) and the non-marring insert will protect your lugs. This non-marring socket is 1/2-inch drive and Chrome Molybdenum, so feel free to use your impact wrench. This socket will hold up!
  • DIMENSIONS: The outside diameter of this non-marring lug nut socket is 1.15 inches. Please note that some wheels have very confined lug wells, and the outer nylon sleeve may be prohibitive in accessing the lug.
  • RELIABLE | EFFECTIVE | EFFICIENT: Users trust ARES to be quality tools. You are backed by our Performance Assurance Limited Lifetime Warranty. If you have any issues with your ARES Non-Marring Lug Nut Socket, simply contact customer service for troubleshooting help, parts, replacement, or refund.

The first socket the plastic sleeve was broken in shipping. I returned for another socket. The second socket the sleeve split and came off after removing 2 wheels. Won't buy again.

Good product, alot heavier than most of the cheap lug sockets I've gotten, with same thin wall though. Only complaint is the size is only printed on the sleeve and not on the actual socket, and it wears off quickly.

I order these to keep from marring up my rims. I really like the storage rail it comes with as well. The only problem I had was a couple of the clips where damaged during shipping. Instead of just returning, I thought I would give there customer service a try. I submitted online the warranty claim with a couple of pictures and in no time they had sent out a bag of replacement storage rail clips. I would definitely recommend their products.

It's very good! But I didn't get the size I wanted so I gave it to a friend. But yeah, good quality.

Opening the shipping box the red ink was smeared on the box and coming off of the sockets. There is no stamping on the sockets either. So what you end up with is sockets that will leave red on the wheels until there is no ink left and then you have no way of telling which socket is which. Returning.
