Worked great the smaller head on the bolt made it a lot easier around the long tube headers.

Nice SS bolt with 3/8 head, easy install with plenty of room for a socket

Used them with longtube headers with a 3/8" flange. Bolts were long enough and a small head which is a big plus.I would definatly buy them again.

I bought these for my 351 Cleveland motor with hooker headers. While these bolts were the right thread, they should have been a 1/4' longer to make wrestling with the header, the gasket and the bolt in tight spaces a little easier. Due to the thickness of my header flange, I had to ditch the supplied washer in order to get the bolts to thread. The smaller hex head design does make getting a wrench on them easier tho

Smaller hex head for smaller wrenches makes a BIG difference in tight places.

I looked up the part number in the ARP catalog for the header bolts I needed for my big block Chevy. I was a little concerned when I found the part number on Amazon for those bolts and saw a picture and description saying head studs and bolts. So I went back to the catalog and looked. Then I looked again. Eventually, I decided to just order them. Sure enough, they're stainless header bolts. I submitted the product feedback a few months ago, but the description is still wrong, so whatever.I prefer the 6-point header bolts like these, as I can get an open-end wrench on them (unlike 12-point bolts which I prefer pretty much in all other situations. Because these are reduced heads, you can actually get a box end on them in just about all cases. But I still went with 6-point for that extra insurance.Anyway, you can't beat ARP bolts. They're pretty (especially the stainless), well-made, precise, and near indestructible compared to hardware store stuff. There's no reason to run anything else.
