Tapered and perfect every time. Works like magic.Anything else is junk and rings will pop out or you have to ratchet it tight … no thanks use the right tools to get the job done.

Worked perfectly for compressing the rings on my LS7. You need to make sure that you finesse the rings into their grooves before fully pushing the pistons into the cylinders. much simpler/quicker than the old fashioned ring compressors of the past. The only downside is that it is limited to one piston size.
