So the way that these hold a helmet can compress the foam in a way that is not good if you are serious about protecting your head. I also found that the hardware and hangers were flimsy and cheap. I will repurpose this as a gear holder for paintball jerseys and masks but I was very underwhelmed by this for actually using it with my motorcycle gear.

Saw this and thought it was a good garage storage option for helmets and small gear. It is pretty good for that, with a couple caveats. As some others mentioned, the vertical poles are higher than they need to be, so you have to mount this lower than you might otherwise. The build quality is just ok, but given the price, I expected that. If you're going to just mount it once and leave it, it's fine.

Build quality is cheap. Everything was in the box and well wrapped except 1 wall anchor. Not a big deal, I have plenty of spares. The top stand pieces screw to the bottom. The joint is not tight, so the metal doesn't line up perfectly. The helmet holders are foam padded metal disks about 4" in diameter. Not horrible, but also not a form fitting dome to the inside of the helmet like some others out there. Paint on one of the pieces was a little rough. Again, I imagine these are made as cheaply as possible. It's not very wide, so you won't hang very many things from this. Because the helmets are so high, it needs to be hung fairly low, so that also limits what gets hung. I can't imagine wasting the shelf space on a little toy like the ad shows. I store my tank bag on mine. I'm going to live with it for a while, but may end up cutting it down a little. I think it could lose a foot of vertical height.

We recently bought 2 new helmets and the old ones looked like we had crashed a 100 times from all the scratches and dings from moving the helmets around the house. Now I have a place for everything, and everything in one place. However I'm in the process of remodeling the laundry room which is near the back door, so it's not mounted yet. (Yes dear, I'll get it mounted, you don't have to remind me every 3 months.)The helmet stand comes neatly packed with everything you need. Assembly was a breeze and took about 10 minutes from unpacking to ready to hang. The wood shelf looks very nice and the whole thing feels sturdy once it's all together. This not only looks nice, but functions perfectly for our riding needs.

Installed in the garage next to our Can-Am. Now all our gear is eadily stored with quick access for whenever we go out for a ride. Super easy to install and it looks good on our garage wall. Quality made product. I certainly recommend.

Some good and a little bad. I was disappointed to see rust on a few of the metal pieces right out of the package, but I was impressed that they put corner protectors on the wood piece. And I absolutely love the stain on the wood, even though it'll be covered most of the time. The clips it comes with aren't strong enough to hold a pair of cold weather pants, so they'll just stay folded on the shelf I was hoping to throw random stuff on. I'll see if one of my hangers will fit underneath so I can hang them.

This shelf was very easy to assemble and mount. My son has all of his motorcycle stuff on it, including his large helmet and the shelf holds it all. No worries about it falling from the wall.
