This grass mat is interesting in that not only is the shade of green fairly life like, but it also has the thatch color of dead grass under the green. The backing is thin, about 1mm thick, with an additional around 4mm bumps all over the back for traction. The black material itself is rough feeling and opaque and doesn't stretch at all, but it does bend enough to be rolled up. I could wish for the grass to be a little more dense, but other than that I think this is a very nice mat. I took a few closeup pictures to show some of the details.

I got this to cover the bottom of a big kitty cage we have outside for our cats to enjoy the outside safely. It's easy to cut to size, will have some fallout. The only issue I have with this is the very strong odor, but I aired it out for awhile and it's starting to go away.
