What a creative solution to dress up a vase and create a wonderful center piece or a couple smaller vases. I enjoy getting creative with flowers. The artificial ice was definitely different but fun to work with.Instead of vases I used small wine carafes. For a candle I used tealights to put it all together. The tealights fit perfectly in the carafes. I did have to trim the bottoms to fit to size.

I needed floating candles for a memorial vase for a wedding and didn’t want to worry about fresh flowers. This actually looks really nice in the hourglass vase I already had.

When this first arrived, I was skeptical when I saw how tiny the water beads were. They are really really small and I didn’t think they would grow enough to be of any use. I am happy to say, that they grew more than I thought was possible. I started off putting, probably about a Tablespoon of them in a 1/2 cup measuring cup and put added water. After a couple of hours, I had to transfer them to a bigger cup and added more water. They expanded even more and, once again, I transferred them to a large measuring cup. They are a nice size to go in my vases and I am pleasantly surprised with the results. The blue flower candle is also quite lovely as well.
