I tested this on a 3 inch diameter branch on a mesquite tree recently and it took me about 1 minute to cut completely through the branch. Pretty impressive and well constructed.

Used to cut a branch in the yard. I as gonna through it in my pack for the mountains. Good thing I tested it. About the third stroke the cable pulled right through the handle. Great concept just wasn’t built strong enough. Or I got a bad one
