Great addition to my new astrophotography hobby. Allows me to quickly mount my camera to my go-to tracking mount and take pictures of larger objects in the night sky that are too big for my 950 mm focal length telescope. Attached photo is a 30 second exposure of Pleiades star cluster with a 200mm focal length camera lens with an APS-C sensor set for 1600 ISO. My skies are Bortle 6-7.

Exactly what I needed. This fit my 80mm WO telescope perfectly. I wanted the long center slot for maximum adjustability. Perfect.

The bar itself is awesome, I ordered D ring screws separately. Also it was in stock according to the vendor page when I ordered it, then got a notification that it wasn't, took over a month to receive it.

So far so good. Did not have time to fully try it yet. But it seems make my Celestron eq 90 tripod to be compatible to mount normal camera. My EQ90 equatorial mount was not an universal one to attach any other 1/4 or 3/8 gears. I use this plate to mount a star tracker. So that I just use my equipment to align my star tracker to the polar star easier, without need to waste too much money on the other new (so-called) basement for star-tracker. I am waiting for my new low-gravity ball head for finally mounting my camera. I maybe re-edit this review until I fully test my system.

Works great and great quality. Using it on my HEQ5 mount for my DSLR and does exactly what I wanted it to do.

Needed to mount my dslr strait to my vixen mount for some milkyway long exposures. This mount has helped a lot and is easy to adjust to balance your camera

It’s simple in design, but does exactly what it needs to. I purchased this as a base plate for use with my Fujifilm X-T100 with 15-45mm kit lens. I can attach the camera to it directly, or use an L-bracket for some flexibility in framing. This imaging platform rides atop my modified Celestron Advanced VX mount. The payload wasn’t quite light enough to go without counter weights, but the standard 12lb counter weight was overkill. So I purchased a 3lb iOptron counter weight, which was a perfect fit for the AVX counter weight arm, and was more than enough weight to do the job.
