I used this battery to replace the battery in my HP laptop. It came with a charge of about 80%. After installation I ran the battery down to 20% and recharged it. I then ran it down to 10% and recharged it. I lastly let the battery completly drain, recharge it, and it last for right at 4.5 hours with use. I am very please with the cost performance ratio of this laptop battery.

So I've got a Dell Latitude e7270 that had a failing battery. This one said it was "compatible" so I bought it, although the product page said it was a frequently returned product, which made me suspicious. I was doubly suspicious when I opened it and saw that the battery was substantially bigger than what I had, which was an original Dell battery. I also saw that the original battery was rated at 42W, and this was higher (55 or 62, I forget). But ... the connector was the same, and the battery thickness and height was the same; the new one was just longer AND ... there actually seemed to be space in the laptop shell to accommodate the longer battery. There were also anchor spots to screw it down. Seems as though there might have been different models of the e7270, some of which had larger batteries. Anyway, I figured I'd give it a chance, and - sure enough - it seemed to fit well enough, allowing me to close up laptop again. I don't know if having the bigger battery will cause any problems long term, but seems to be working OK right now and have good battery life.EDIT: Turns out that the bigger battery DOES NOT work on the e7270. It will power the laptop, but doesn't recharge. You need to get the exact model that came with the laptop, so search for the battery model number, not the computer model number.

Such a cheap and easy way to give new life to my laptop that wouldn't hold a charge anymore. I was able to replace it without looking up any instructions (and I've never opened a laptop before). Super easy and took maybe 10-15 min. You're supposed to let the battery drain to 2% before plugging it in and charging to 100% (for the first use), and since I'm trying to hit that 2% I'm actually getting annoyed at how long it's taking to drain. I figured a couple hours of use unplugged on full brightness would do it, but it works too well. It's taking forever to drain. Haha, its a solid replacement. Highly recommend.

What's not to like? This was the cheapest battery replacement for my XPS 13 so I went for it. I'm glad that I did. I can't speak to battery life yet, but so far I'm super happy. The battery is an exact drop in replacement for the original. It came with the tools you need to make the swap. It was well packaged in a anti-static bag, a bubble wrap envelope, and a cardboard box.One thing to note for people doing this replacement: you'll also want a sharp knife of some kind. There's a wire routed along one long edge of the battery that gets tacked in place with a few pieces of tape. You'll need to very carefully cut that tape to separate this wire from the old battery. When I installed the new battery I did not bother to re-tape that wire. It lays in place just fine and I didn't have any trouble with it moving around at all.
