The cord itself is nice and strong, and easy to vacuum through conduit. It is conveniently packaged for deployment. But once out of the tube, you will likely end up tossing whatever you use, because it is so unwieldly to rewind or store. As someone who reuses *everything* I'm not a big fan of that.

This is a great alternative to the green name brand stuff. I have not had any problems or concerns with it. I feel it flows out of the can well, despite being only 500 feet, its convenient size is great for small jobs or a single run that you will have to go over several times. Pull string holds strong even when wet.

I had to pull some wire through some 2" PVC conduit I had run underground from my house to my barn. This worked great for that. I was able to attach it to a plastic grocery bag and stick that into one end of the conduit and then go to the other end and use my shop vac to pull it through roughly 100 feet of conduit. Then I tied it to the wire and was able to easily pull it back through the conduit. Works just as good or better than any other pull string I have used in the past.

This review is for the ATERET Pull Line 500ft in Blue.I am using this pull line for low voltage runs through 1in Smurf Tube so this is not the most challenging type of pull, but this is an area where cost savings can be great. Compared to what I can purchase at a big box store this seems to be cheaper, and of the same quality. Especially great that it shows up at my doorstep rather than having to run down to the store.

There is no easier way to store and dispense 500 feet of poly line. It is so handy. We do a big Christmas display every year and need high quality string or cord to secure our inflatables. We have tried a lot of options. The cords that come with the inflatables are often inadequate. We have used paracord, but it is expensive and takes up a fair amount of space. We have used thinner cord (mini-paracord) but it is hard to see, making it easy to walk into it by accident. We have been looking for an alternative and this is what we decided to go with. I have used this type of cord to secure lumber and other purchases in the back of my truck for the ride home. It is easy to tie and untie and is very strong. This dispenser is great! You just pull out what you want and it stays neat and tidy in the container. This helps because we have to store all our Christmas decor about about 10 months during the year and being compact is very nice. I'll buy more of this.

I haven't had the need to use this yet, but instantly put it in the car. I'm sure it will come in handy to tie something down at some point. The reason for 4 stars is do to the design of the top. It looks like it's designed to keep the string from falling back inside the container, but the string is much smaller than the opening, so you would have to wrap it back and forth multiple times to achieve this. I purchased another brand of this same type of cord (more expensive, higher holding strength, and more expensive) and the top of that container holds the string in place AND has a small razor attached for cutting to length.

This has gone way down in price since I ordered it at $20, but I'm reviewing it at the price at the time of my order, because that is what Amazon will report to the IRS as income to me.I note that 6,500' of this same line (13 times as much) is currently available on Amazon from the same seller for $60 (less than $.01 per foot), making this $20 offering cost more than four times as much per foot. What I particularly dislike about this cord is that it is disposable. I keep lots of cords and ropes on hand, and I expect to be able to reuse it. This stuff is much like what you'd see on a big reel near the truck door at a hardware store, to use for free, as much as you want, to secure your load, and dispose of when you reach home. It's quite loose fibered, not woven or twisted in the way that ordinary cords are.Roughly speaking, one can buy much higher quality reusable cords of equal strength and length for about the same cost. This cord might work fine for pulling cables through conduit and then disposing of the cord, but I want cord that's good for more than that.

Very high strength (210 Lbs, about 100 Kg) and lots of it (500 ft) all in a compact easy dispenser canister.Works like baby wipes / wet wipes dispenser. The listing targets use for pulling cable through conduit.Because the line is light weight it can be blown or vacuumed through long runs of conduit and then is strong enough to pull power or signal cables through long distances. But it will also be useful for a thousand other tasks from wrapping packages to hoisting fans, lights, etc.The line is composed of many thin filaments and two thicker ones colored for identification if for example you are pulling two different cables through the same section of conduit.Made of a thermoplastic, it can easily be sealed at the ends or cut with heat or a small flame such as a cigarette lighter.
