I will preface this first part of the review with the fact that i sold and installed car stereos for over a decade in the 2000's. That being said I was really impressed with how much technology they were able to fit into a headunit of this size (depth). I would say the depth on this is a quarter of what the factory headunit was and maybe 1/3 of the Atoto it was replacing from 2020 (Old unit was still working fine, I just wanted an upgrade) I included a picture with the New unit on the left and the old Atoto unit on the right. With it being so thin it was a breeze to install this into my Tacoma's dash. On top of that I was able to integrate the factory steering wheel controls of the Tacoma into this headunit without the need for any type of "little black box." I didn't end up using the included camera as I was able to utilize the factory camera with the use of a Metra wire harness designed for this. After the past week of using the headunit I would say I'm very happy with it. The interface has been very quick and responsive and the setup of the features such as the "mapping" of the steering wheel controls was very simple. I was able to easily connect my phone to the unit via bluetooth or USB. The only thing that i had an issue with was the screen mirroring. It really is not the fault of the headunit, but if you want to use the functionality, you do need a cellular plan that allows for tethering of the phone. I did not have this so i was unable to use this feature at least for the time being (Unless I wanted to change my cell plan). The app they have you use on your phone for the tethering feature does have ads on it which was a little annoying when i was trying to get this to work, but im guessing there would be a paid version of the app without ads. While I wasn't able to use the mirroring function, I think the Android Auto software completely makes up for it. The Android Auto GUI makes the Navigation and audio functionality a breeze. Again, the interface is quick and responsive and the display is easy to read and navigate even in sunlight. To sum this Atoto unit up so far:Pros:Ease of installation due to sizeEase of setting up extra functionality like camera and steering wheel controlsAndroid Auto software looks great and is easy to operateSound quality and control of sound with the adjustable EQCons:Screen mirror requires cellular plan that includes tetheringmirroring app has adsAll in all, this has a been a great headunit so far given the insanely inexpensive price. If you have a double DIN sized opening in your vehicle and want a budget friendly upgrade from factory, this is really a no brainer.

I purchased this unit as a replacement for the Toto F7 I previously installed. The installation was fairly simple, although this unit does not share the same connection as the F7 and required full rewiring. It would be great if the back connectors were universal across brands and models.The unit itself is much more responsive and quicker to use. I appreciate that it’s Android-based and supports apps from the Play Store. My primary use is with Android Auto, but I’ve noticed the auto connection can be slow when first getting into the vehicle as it is handled through a 3rd party app called zlink5. That said, the unit's quick-start feature is a nice touch, significantly reducing boot time.The display is bright and clear during the day, it auto dims at night or low light, however, I feel that it is a little too bright at night even at its lowest dim setting.One limitation I’ve encountered is the inability to have simultaneous Wi-Fi connections. While using Android Auto, the head unit cannot access other apps due to lack of network connectivity. It would be ideal if the unit could handle multiple network connections, allowing seamless integration between Android Auto and the head unit’s features.On the positive side, the built-in amplifier noticeably improves audio quality, even with factory speakers, compared to the F7. However, the EQ settings could be more user-friendly. Simplified adjustments for treble and bass would be a welcome addition for those who aren’t audio engineers.Overall, I’m happy with this purchase. It’s a significant upgrade over the previous model, offering great value for an affordable price. I’d recommend this head unit to anyone looking for an upgrade.

I recently ordered a stereo like this for my older commuter car. I was impressed, so I decided to try this brand now for a project. I build portable solar rechargeable power stations and stereos. I also host outdoor movie nights for friends and family in my yard. I built a portable power station / stereo using a small boat stereo. My neighbor said it would be cool if I built a touchscreen box, and I agreed. I decided to give it a try with this unit. This stereo is easy to set up and connect. It is a little laggy, but I expected that. It's only 2gb of ram like me car stereo. It also doesn't have much storage with only 32gb. There are pins for connecting an external drive to add more storage, but I haven't used it. I don't mind it, but it is not as responsive as a new phone or tablet. Instead of connecting directly to my outdoor speakers, I mounted speaker ports on my battey box so I can connect and disconnect my outdoor surround sound speakers. The screen is bright and easy to see even in the day. My Samsung phone connects to it easily. I don't use IOS products, so I can't speak on apple compatibility. Although I built this to bring sound to the projector some nights when im alone and don't feel like setting up the projector and screen, I just wantch videos right on this screen. I decided to tape the mic down to the top of my box. I also connected the camera so I can see who's coming into my yard when I have the gazebo curtains closed. I had to fabricate some pieces to make this fit my battery box. I used an installation kit for the one in my car. If you are using this in a car, I suggest getting a mounting / installation kit specifically for your vehicle to make things easier and look more professional. This is a great little head unit for the price. It sounds great with my outdoor Herdio speakers. It does everything I wanted and more, but it is laggy compared to newer touchscreen devices. I am still very happy with it for the price. It is not perfect but it is great.

Une vraie mise à jour pour la voiture ! 🚗Après installation (plutôt simple si on est un peu bricoleur), cet autoradio transforme vraiment l’expérience de conduite. L’écran est réactif, l’interface fluide, et le CarPlay sans fil fonctionne sans accroc – fini le câble à brancher à chaque trajet ! La connexion Bluetooth est stable, et avec quelques réglages, le son est franchement bon.Petit plus : la caméra de recul incluse fait bien le boulot. Juste un détail, il faudra peut-être un adaptateur selon votre voiture, mais une fois en place, c’est un vrai confort au quotidien. À ce prix-là, difficile de trouver mieux !

Ho preso questo autoradio qualche settimana fa e lo sto testando sulla mia auto da allora. Dal punto di vista della completezza della confezione nulla da dire: sono presenti diversi connettori e cavi per adattarlo alle diverse marche di auto e quindi da questo punto di vista è altamente standard. Sono presenti anche mascherine, placchette e vitine di diversi tipi. Io l'ho montato su una C3 del 2009 con i cavi in dotazione, i suoi adattatori e placchette e in 10 minuti avevo finito. La fotocamera posteriore è stata leggermente più impegnativa, e l'ho installata in circa un ora, con un po' di calma, e l'ho attaccata al tettuccio dell'auto, internamente, per una questione di facilità di installazione, ma l'installazione esterna avrebbe sicuramente dato una visibilità migliore e più completa. Per montarla ci vuole un po' di tempo perché bisogna sollevare un pochino le plastiche e le guarnizioni dell'auto per farci passare sotto il cavetto. Ma non è difficile alla fine.Dal punto di vista dell'audio, io ho delle casse abbatsnaza potentie il volume non risulta altissimo anche quando lo mettete al massimo ma è comunque molto buono, con bassi potenti e corposi e alti/medi molto ben definiti. Questo anche quando andate a velocità sostenuta su asfalto un pochino sconnesso.LO schermo è molto bello e il sistema Android vi permette di sfruttarlo per esempio installando app per lo streaming adudio direttamente su di esso. Basta collegarlo al WIFi del vostro telefono (con l'hot spot) e lo potrete utilizzare come se fosse un tablet android, per app di riproduzione video come youtube, di film e di canzoni. FAntastico davvero.È anche compatibile con CarPlay e Android auto, che è possibile usare per la navigazione e tutto il resto.I tasti comuni di volume, avanti, inietro ecc sono fisici. Vi posso assicurare che si tratta di un vantaggio quando state guidando, perché i tasti touch a volte risultano difficili da usare, e quindi scomodi.In sostanza, posso dire che si tratta di un ottimo prodotto, che continuerò ad usare nella mia auto. Molto comodo. Lo raccomando!!!

Podemos añadirle la cámara trasera para estacionamiento, que viene incluida, para facilitarnos mucho más el estacionar y medir distancias en los aparcamientos.Relación calidad/precio perfecta. Tiene un precio muy adecuado a sus prestaciones y a su funcionalidad, nos hará la vida mucho más fácil al volante y nos ayudará mucho a la hora de viajar, ya que nos evitará mirar el móvil porque podemos verlo todo en la pantalla con total seguridad, además, su asistente de voz nos ayudará bastante a no distraernos evitándonos tener que tocar la pantalla para realizar cualquier operación. Ottimo prodotto, proprio come il fratello maggiore che utilizzo nella macchina della moglie (A6 PF), risulta una goduria rispetto agli stereo di serie, limitatissimi sotto molti punti di vista.L'installazione è facile a patto di avere un po' di esperienza, e la cavetteria giusta per la vostra auto.Gradita la presenza della retrocamera che altrimenti ci si può acquistare separatamente ma che ovviamente farebbe levitare il prezzo, il montaggio di essa richiede un bel po' di impegno ed anche certe conoscenze nell'ambito elettrauto in quanto bisogna prelevare alcuni segnali dall'impianto originale della macchina, nonché far passare tutti i cavi lungo il veicolo.La qualità dello schermo è ottima, il touch funziona molto bene, e non ho notato particolari rallentamenti e/o impuntamenti che magari capitavano con lo stereo originale.Il compartimento audio può bastare per le casse di serie oppure entry level (nel mio caso kit Hertz DSK 165), lo stereo non sarà in grado di creare una discoteca sotto casa, ma sarà in grado di rendervi sordi all'interno della vostra auto se lo utilizzate a volume alto.Buona la qualità nonché l'abbondanza di impostazioni che ci si possono fare, anche ritardare il segnale verso determinate casse della macchina, in modo da migliorare l'immagine stereofonica.Il fatto che sia compatibile Apple Car e Android Auto sono un punto a suo favore, anche se personalmente essendo che si tratta di un unità con Android, non ne sento il bisogno di far vedere lo schermo del telefono, mi basta fare l'hotspot e dimenticare il cellulare nella tasca della portiera, avendo sostanzialmente un tablet android in grado di fare tutto da solo, dalla musica su youtube fino a google maps, google chrome etc.Prodotto per totale ottimo, ATOTO si rileva un ottimo brand che personalmente mi sento di consigliare!
