anyone that owns a boat will understand the usefulness of this hook. this has saved us a few times already when docking in windy conditions. No one wants to ever make contact with someone elses boat accidentally and this tool helps prevent those types of mishaps..

Nicely built and collapsible. Fits in the boat well. Must have for any boater. They're not meant to do heavy duty work but moves the boat around and such or to grab something from the water.

I keep it in my closet for those hard to reach high hanging wardrobe poles! Love it, don’t need a ladder anymore, just grab the pole and done! It is very sturdy and you can adjust the length! Great product!

I added a 2.5 outboard motor to my kayak which as a level with a knob to put it in and take it out of gear but you have to be next to the motor to operate it.To properly distribute weight in the kayak, I put my seat in the center with my gear in the front to balance with the motor in the back which is far out of reach.So I wanted to be able to put the motor in gear from my seated position in the center of the kayak. I saw someone on Youtube suggesting using a boat hook.This one worked great.Not only could I easily put the outboard in and out of gear with this boat hook, I could also use the flat red end to hit the kill switch from my seat.BTW - After my first use, I knocked it off the boat. No problem, it floats. I circled back and easily retrieved it.
