Works great and doesn't have an issue with temperature swings.

I replaced the door speakers in my 2023 Chevy Bolt EUV, and quickly found out the stock amplifier was *no where near* powerful enough to drive them. I purchased an AudioControl D-6.1200 to remedy that issue, however, after literally a few seconds, all AUX sounds (door ajar dings, blinker sounds, fasten seatbelt nags from my passenger not fastening their seatbelt, etc) would vanish. As someone on a DIY car audio forum discovered, it has to be the AC-LGD 20 to restore the sounds in this vehicle (and I'd bet other GM vehicles using a similar audio system) -- the other options in AudioControl's LGD lineup did not work at all.Once installed, it did not interfere with the audio levels at all, so I did not have to change any settings in the D-6.1200's DSP. I only installed one of the two provided in the package (on the front speakers).

Subarus with StarLink Factory Audio have load sensors. The sensors need to detect a load or will not output audio. The AduioControl AC-LGD 20 provides the needed load and will stabilize the signal.Works like a charm paired with a JL-Audio FiX86

Needed this for stereo upgrade to 2019 Ram in order to put rear door speakers on an amp and still show load for line out converter.

Didn't know I needed this, but any Jeep Gladiator using a stock head unit can't do without it if you upgrade the Knee Panel and Soundbar speakers. I have a 7" Stock screen with an LC7i and a Rockford Fosgate 4 channel amplifier. All stock front and rear speakers were replaced with aftermarket speakers (this caused the issue). Without this plug and play device, radio turned on but sound output was extremely low, even at maxed out volume. Plugged this in and full sound returned instantly. Flawless victory!
