I bought this item before. It lasted a long time.I bought it again recently, same item number,highier price and was half the size of the original.I was a little surprised, but it works fine.

Just received it today..followed set up instructions.First two sheet and it overheat!! Wait more then the 15mins as instructed via manual for it to cool down, only to turn it back to it start smoking out of the maxhine! Do not recommend

Fits very easily on a standard trash can. Does exactly what it should and easy to put away when not in use.

This shredder works fine. But the plastic arms that stretch across the trash can are really flimsy. I hope they don't break. I wish the delivery was as good as the shredder. The delivery message from Amazon lied and said it was on or near my porch. But instead, (sometime after dark) it was placed at the end of my driveway. I was already in for the night so I didn't know it was delivered until the next morning. Overnight, it rained but only outer box got wet, so the shredder was ok. It was only luck that it didn't rain harder. But if it had actually been placed on my porch, it wouldn't have got wet at all.

Terrible product. Jams after a few minutes use. One side stops shredding which creates drift and jams. Save your money on this one!

I love the shredder but by mistake I think that I tried to shred 9 or 10 pages and it got stuck and went off. I had to magic in order to clear the paper cluster. I removed what was stuck in the shredder and it went back on again. Other than that it is a great machine. Hopefully it will last many years or I will have to purchase one with more shredding capacity.

MY OLD SHREDDER GOT A PAPER JAM AND JUST STOPPED. I COULDN'T GET IT WORKING AGAIN. THIS NEW SHREDDER HAS MANY SAFTY FEATURES THA MY OLD ONE DIDN'T HAVE.THANK YOU AURORA FOR PRODUCING A MUCH IMPROVED VERSION OF THE SAME SHREDDERVERSION.
