Pain in butt, did not come with a mounting bracket, did not come with a template to use to cut into pre exisiting door for motor. Had to make my own bracket and guess on the hole placement. Directions for programming where clear. Easy to calibrate. Easy to wire. Just needs to come with mounting bracket and template for the holes needed.

I couldn’t use it, but seemed to be well made, my door wouldn’t accommodate it

Very easy to install with 2 ratchet straps, a cresesnt wrench, a 9/16”socket and ratchet, and a17mm socket. Adjusting the up down is done with easily adjustable cams which you can hear an audible click when the switches are met. It would be perfect if the line from the motor head to the control box was about 2 feet longer.

Installed one of these yesterday on a new 12'x8' door on my new metal garage. Installation was fairly easy, however be prepared to be creative and to make modifications as prep information in the manual provided is stilted and of limited use. Clearer info on the remotes and the DIP switches in the control box would have been helpful. Also, there is no warranty information anywhere I could find. Regardless, the door works great (after thoroughly dousing all the tracks and runners with Super Slick Spray) and I ordered another opener for door #2Update - both openers failed within four months of installation. Shortly after installation, both drive mechanisms got very sloppy and eventually would not raise or lower the doors completely. Replaced them with a competitor's single box units and am much more satisfied with smoothness of operation.

Opener was difficult to install. The gearbox is flimsy and cheap. Mine worked for about 2 months before the gears started slipping, forcing me to push up on the door when opening to assist and keep the gears from slipping. Not worth $50 IMO. $200 down the drain but that’s the gamble on Amazon with cheap products. Don’t fall for this one, save up and buy a real quality opener.
