I tested the HY300Pro Portable Mini Projector over several weeks for various applications. The auto keystone feature, while functional, wasn’t as precise as a competing model I tested. I didn't know what to expect as I have never used a small projector prior to this one. I read through the instructions, which were fairly easy to follow, and went from there. It was easy to enter the settings menu on the projector to hook it up to my Wi-Fi. I was also able to download the app and pair it with my phone via Bluetooth. It might be a little difficult if you don't have some technical ability, but don't fret Google will gladly help you if you get stuck. I was really impressed with the image clarity when streaming a move off Amazon Prime. There is a nice focus feature on the housing of the projector that allows you to get better clarity depending on the distance from whatever you are projecting on. I chose a door to project on since I didn't have a readily available screen and that worked well. I didn't have a lot of light in the room and imagine that will be important when trying to view something using this projector. If you have too much light you may not be able to see the image as well. Darker areas will definitely give you clearer pictures. The projector seems well made and is so portable you can easily pack this in a suitcase to take on vacation. The sound isn't the loudest, but I was easily able to pair this with a JBL speaker using Bluetooth. The projector also took a screen mirroring cast from my smartphone without any issues. This budget-friendly projector is a MUST HAVE for anyone with kids or if you like to watch movies while traveling. You won't be disappointed if you spend a few bucks on this budget-friendly model.

Nifty little projector. A couple of things to note if you are brand new at this...like I am. There is a power switch on the back side- the machine's response is not immediate, especially when powering off- you need to hold the button for 2 seconds. All of the setup is done with the remote, so load it with 2 AAA batteries in advance. Point the projector at a nearby blank wall- it will project selectable features and tasks that you use to set up & pair with your device. Use the remote arrows/OK to select options, enter text via keyboard, etc. which are projected on the wall as you go. There was an upgrade that needs to be performed- it took about 10 minutes to load-but is optional if you want to do it later. I did it. After that, I attempted pairing. It may be easy with Microsoft/Android devices, but trying to pair the projector via bluetooth with my MacBook was a complete and utter failure! Just before I gave up on it I stumbled on to a different way that was easy and worked: (1) set both devices- projector and laptop in this case- to the same Wifi network. (2) use the control center button (upper right corner of laptop screen, next to the date) and select "screen mirroring". (3) select the projector device. That was it! Suddenly everything open on my laptop was being projected on the wall! All of the projector functions (except the power switch & focus wheel) can be performed with the remote from the projector's home screen: volume, zoom, language, etc. The Netflix app is pre-loaded so if you have an account, you probably just have to log in; there are a few other preloaded apps too.The unit has a fan (all projectors do) which makes a little noise, but not loud enough to interfere with movie sound. The instructions that come with it confused me more than they helped, but maybe it would make more sense to Android/Microsoft users? My use for this projector is for still images, not motion pictures, so I can't really comment on the quality of that, but I think it will largely depend on the surface you are projecting on. My wall has an "orange peel" texture, and even with that, I thought the picture was pretty decent.
