Didn’t fit despite all information stating otherwise. Missing parts including double sided tape. Useless.

Bought for my wife's toyota, fit perfect and looks great. Easy to install with included directions. Took maybe 30 minutes. Gives the truck a "mean" look

Purchased for my 2017 Toyota Sequoia. Installing this thing was a bit tricky. I ended up Googling a YouTube video and I was happy to find out I’m far from the first in having a difficult time installing. Although the process is straight forward, in practice it’s most difficult lining up the deflector with the holes in the hood while aligning the front grill. I highly recommend this as a two person job (I used my 16 y/o son) to ensure nothing falls during installation. BIG TIP - Ensure the hood latch has something blocking so that it can’t latch while during installation or else you’re going to spend some time trying to reopen the hood.

Box was damaged heavily from delivery (thank you purolator) but thankfully the item was not harmed.I was done installing in 20 mins and that’s only because I had 2 rusty bolts.Item comes with a pry tool which is an added value.

Considering how simple this bug shield is, the installation was remarkably difficult. Part of that is due to how Toyota attaches their grill to the Tundra and this device's need to mount between the grill and the hood. If I had not already been replacing the grill along with installing the bug shield, it would have been even more infuriating.Besides that, the lousy little screws and "anchors" the manufacturer provides makes for poor attachments on the two sides above the lights. Don't bother with a screwdriver. You can push those into place by hand... and hope they'll stay. Actually screwing them in serves no purpose but to spin a screwdriver. The bug shield I received is just a bit wavy and warped in the middle. It's not horrible, but would not be a good option for the image-conscious buyer. The color is just right, unlike the vent shades also made by AVS. Where the vent shades have the color and transparency of cheap, ugly window tint, the bug shield is a nice, dark (yet still slightly translucent) black.Overall, the product does not leave me wanting to run out and recommend an AVS bug shield to everyone I meet. If anything, I would suggest that another shopper consider other alternatives first. This item isn't the worst possible option, but it's also not satisfying.

So, the instructions were easy enough - you just have to work around differences in your vehicle and the instructions. I have a 2013 Tundra Crewmax, and the grill I had didn't have any hidden screws to remove from the front. And, once the screws I did have were removed, you kinda' wince a little when it says to pry the grill off, and you are not sure you've removed everything. My biggest advice from my experience is be careful when unscrewing the hood latch. I had to improvise a solution when I broke the plastic piece that holds the rod to the bottom lever. That seems pretty fragile. Other than that, it looks great, fits perfect, and arrived in just two days.

Perfect! A must have for the tundra. Be smart and put it on when it's new...not after 200,000k. But whatever, I love it! Adds to the look and guarantees protection

Exactly as described. I am a pretty handy person and after installing fender flares last week I didn't hesitate to attempt this myself. Installation was fairly simple even though I don't have a ton of vehicle mod experience. It turns out the aftermarket grille on our Tundra didn't require the first step but did require the longer pins even though the directions said we wouldn't need them for our model year. In removing the grille it was extremely helpful that the directions said it would make a loud POP sound so I was a bit more confident in tugging it off. Although it did snap off one of the snaps at the far end, it turns out those snaps look pretty overkill and they weren't going to latch properly with the deflector in between anyway due to the added thickness. With some studying of the directions and the slightly different grille on our truck (sport grille, 2008 Tundra), all in all it took me and hour from opening the package to cleaning up and heading to work.

This fits perfectly on my Tundra and had good instructions to mount it. It is a little tricky to do on the Tundra due to the front grill being attached to the hood. It is pretty strong plastic and is holding up as you would expect. I would get it again if I had another truck to put one on.

I don't care what anyone says, these AVS Bugflectors are worth their weight in gold. Okay, maybe a slight exaggeration, but they really do make a difference on the road.Only problem with them for some model vehicles (like the 2011 Toyota Tundra this one was put on) is they can be a huge pain in the a$$ to install. This particular one required the grill be completely removed, OEM clips removed and replaced with ones that came with the Bugflector. Bugflector gets installed loosely, grill replaced loosley, everything centered and lined up then snugged down. One other problem was the little plastic screws and anchors that came wit the Bugflector did not stay mounted in the pre-existing holes under the hood. I had to force them in and also reinforce the connection of the Bugflector to the hood with 3M automotive grade double sided adhesive tape.Even though a pain in the a$$, still well worth it and the price here could not be beat!!!In the end a pain but looks awesome!!!
