This is a solid hose Y splitter. The On/Off handles are firm, yet easy to turn. The On directional arrows are hard to make out. With testing, it was easy to determine the On/Off direction.It came with 2 Hose O-rings in case needed. They are for hoses, not the Y Splitter itself. It does not come with Plumbers tape so make sure to order a roll. It is needed to wrap around once or twice around the hose spigot and hose attachments to prevent any leaks between connection.Overall, this brass Y-Splitter appears well made and solid. I did not see any plastic parts inside. So far, I am happy with this purchase.

It does seem to be sturdy. But the valve handles that either direct water to the spout or block it, are small. That means they are not easy to work, over and over. Would not have bought it if I had realized that.
