This seems to be a decent door closer, but since I was not able to do a standard installation, I was a bit disappointed.Since my application is an outswing door, I needed to do a parallel arm install. It shows in the instructions this is one of the options. However, it also indicates you need and additional bracket, but they don't seem to have such a bracket. I went to their website and while they have a download of the same instruction that come in the package as well as a video about how to do a "standard" install, there are no instructions about doing a parallel arm install, or where to get the bracket, you need.After doing some more research and a little bit of trial and error, I was able to make my own bracket and got it to work. Although, it is supposed to have a hold open feature I can't seem to get it to work, but since there are no instructions for my type of installation, I may not have it adjusted right.

This door closer was super easy to install. It closer the door well and latches properly.It's the right size for my metal shed door.It feels very sturdy is well, and weighs quite a lot.

I got this "Automatic Door Closer - Hold Open Feature - Adjustable Hydraulic Heavy Duty Door" for my laundry room. The laundry room's door is heavy and I tried a cheaper solution before, and it didn't work very well.This product solves my problem. The hydraulic arm is powerful enough to move the door at a reasonable speed. The installation is a little bit tricky since you do have to drill into both the door and the wall. The price is also very competitive compared to similar products.Overall I'm quite happy with this door closer and would recommend it.
