I tested this blood pressure monitor against two others that I've had for a while, and the results from all three were within 5 points of each other, which means this blood pressure monitor is very accurate. The cuff is a very generous size which will fit just about anyone. There's a voice that comes to tell you to relax as it's about to start taking the measurement, your results when finished, and a goodbye when you turn it off. There's also a range on the display panel that shows you if your blood pressure is normal or elevated. There is one aspect though that made me really dislike this product. Each time the machine went up to 220 mmHg before it started to count down, and that was with a bp of 110/70! Also, it counted down very slowly, which, combined with how tight the cuff felt at 220 left a pinch bruise on my upper arm. So mixed feelings on this one.

We had a similar machine that we had purchased one evening at a local Walmart as it was our only option at the time and my husband thought he was having a cardiac event. While it gives a number, the numbers just never seemed consistent and nothing even close to his number at his primary care. Receiving this new unit from Amazon was a godsend. It works AMAZING! It’s super simple to set up and use. Its design is sleek and the speaking commands are very soothing. Our family all likes to take a turn. The numbers are comparable to his primary care doctor and that alone makes us more confident in this unit.

I've been in to my dentist a couple of times since I got this and both times I checked my bp with this when I got home and it agreed with the one my dentist uses. The numbers are also in line with what I usually get at the doctor's office. As far as I can tell this is pretty accurate. It's also easy to use. The cuff is a little awkward to put on yourself, but as I've done it a few more times it gets easier. It's also basically as easy as pushing the button to turn it on and then waiting for it to do its thing. I didn't bother to put batteries in it because I don't care about saving my bp history so I'm fine just running it off USB. It works fine that way.

Easy to use and it didn't fail like my old blood pressure monitor. I tried it several times and the readings remained consistent, lowering a bit the longer I sat still. I wanted to be able to show my doctor what my readings were when I wasn't in the presence of the doctor with my usual "white-coat syndrome that always elevates my BP when in the doctor's office. It is easy to change from "person 1" to "Person 2", and each person has their own saved memory of up to 120 readings that you can scroll backwards through. These readings also store the date AND time they were taken. The unit accepts 4 AA batteries for power, or has a 6V USB-C socket. I did remove the batteries and replaced them to see what happens. Each time I did, the date/time required resetting...but the old readings WERE retained in the unit's memory, for both persons.

THIS IS IMPORTANT: This blood pressure monitor runs on 6v 600mA minimum. NOT a 5V adapter that comes with phones and such (a lot of people would just assume that). I scoured the internet for a good 2 hours and did not find a 6v 600mA adapter with USB-c plug. I'm not a electronic technician so I don't know if it will catch on fire or short out, so use batteries only. I don't know why they would put a USB-c plug on the BP monitor instead of a round one (there are plenty of 6v 600mA adapters with round plugs). I couldn't test it out for I'm out of batteries but it appears to be well made. I have to give it one star for this is a big safety issue.

This review is for the following item: Automatic Arm Blood Pressure Monitors,Digital Upper Arm Bp Machine for Home Use with Adjustable Large Cuff 8.66-16.54″, Users 120 Sets Memory,Easy to useI had no issues with this blood pressure monitor. I take my blood pressure every day and this monitor was right on track with what my blood pressure normally is.This monitor speaks to you and tells you your systolic and diastolic pressure along with your pulse. When you power it off, it tells you to have a nice day. I haven't figured out if there is a way to shut off the voice, but it doesn't bother me that it speaks. The monitor also shows you what your readings are and it is a large display area and easy to read. Along with your blood pressure reading and pulse, it also shows if you have an irregular heart rate. This monitor runs on 4 AA batteries (not included) or a USB C cable. The instruction book is pretty easy to understand and walks you through how to use the monitor and how to set it up, day, date and time. It also keeps track of 2 users, 120 measurements for each. A nice feature if you don't write down your readings every day.The only thing I didn't care for was the extra long cuff that is included. It did take me awhile to get it positioned correctly on my arm. But once I figured out where to start the wrap, I was able to get it in place correctly and my reading was accurate. One thing to remember when taking your blood pressure is, it is never the same. But they should be in the ballpark. Anything wildly different, rest, wait about 30 minutes and retake. Do not repeat the readings too close together, you will not get accurate readings.Other than the very large cuff, I found this monitor easy to use and it was accurate. I do like it.
